I got this for an upcoming trip, and while the compression is nice and helps, it can be hard to squish it down enough, so having compression straps might work better. But overall, its well made, and the compression does help.
I bought the small and large cubes a while ago, they are excellent. They are lightweight and compress into a very small package. If only Peak Design made some rolling luggage to use these with...
i tried some different packing cubes and found the pd cubes best working for me. With not feeling like a plastic bag, those cubes are light weight and pretty durable at the same time. This compression option is perfectly working and the size options make these cubes pretty variable. As a side effect my kind of stuffing the bag, changed a little with these cubes: it is now a little better structured, less chaos in the bag. Thanks pd! ;)
Hands down the best packing cubes available. The charcoal is much darker in person and looks great! Lightweight and great compression, the divider is absolutely essential!
I've used many different packing cubes before, but these are so much higher quality than any other I've used. The compression option is so easy to use with great zipper action. I also love the "dirty clothes" pouch option it has. I have both sizes and love both for different purposes.
I have used packing cubes for some time, both for organization and compression. These provide the best of both worlds and are light weight and simple to use. Used last year in Europe and got a ton of clothes in a carryon for the trip. Don’t waste you time on Eagle Creek or any of the knock offs if your looking for compression.
I’ve used these packing cubes - one of the small one and one of the larger one, in my travel duffel bag, and they really help a lot with not only organising my clothes, but it also ehsures things take less space. It is a crucial part of my packing strategy for my upcoming interrail trip - and a great additional benefit is the smaller zipper on the underside for dirty clothes.
