Perfect for everyday commuting and short air/train trips. It's my new go-to for a single carry on for weekend trips. Of course it's great for camera gear, but I will also use it even when I'm going lens-less. Lots of open space that can be divided as needed. I tried the 30 liter and returned it as it was a little too large, but the 20 liter is perfect for my use. All of Peak Design's products are built of the best materials and have excellent workmanship, and this is no exception. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed. The bag not only excels in usability but is also beautiful. I highly recommend.
Absolutely loving the backpack after 6 weeks. Peak Design’s attention to detail is incredible as there are so many small, well thought out features. My favorite is the way the straps are attached to the bag allows them to rotate without bunching up. I’ve had Peak Design products for over 4 years now but their Everyday Backpack is on another level. Great job team.
I had the original version of this product and loved it more than any pack I've ever owned. I got many compliments as I traveled. I bought the 30L version because the 20L was so great, but be aware it's too big to fit under most airplane seats. The zipper on the origianl broke and could not be repaired so they replaced it with version 2. This is also a great pack but I prefer the original colors/materials to the new one. I also prefer the design of the side pockets on the original. I really am disppointed that half of the side pockt is just a open pocket that doesn't zip shut. It's too easy for things in there to fall out. It's also just one big pocket. On the original there were several small pocket that were perfect for organizing my stuff. The side pockets are the biggest disappointment.
