I bought this backpack about a year ago and i couldn't be more happy about it. Sure it's a bit of an investment, but it feels solid and it's super comfortable
I have enjoyed this bag and is my primary bag for my camera and lenses that I use on a daily basis. I am purchasing this again because I have some slight damage from when I went down on my motorcycle due some scuffs and holes from sliding across the asphalt. I had 2 Canon RF lenses and 2 Canon mirrorless bodies and my gear was very well protected. I highly recommend this bag.
I can’t say enough good things about this backpack, I use it for my photoshoots and video shoots and it’s big enough to pack everything I need. The black color is so sleek and the best part is the warranty. I’ve used this backpack for over 3 years and when the zippers broke they gave me a brand new one on the spot for free. Can’t beat that
Been looking for a bag that can do everything and I can say that this bag comes as close as it gets to being an everyday bag for work and play. It has ample compartment and well thought out to handle all sorts of things you may want to carry for work, hike, and photography. The materials and sturdy build brings confidence that it can last for a long time, and I really hope it does.
I’ve been looking for a bag for ages and wasn’t sure it would be a good fit for me as I’m not a photographer. But once you try it you can’t leave it. Very comfortable and useful to use in daily activities. Highly recommended.
Backpack has a great design and well thought-out internal layout with many pockets. However, the strap was slightly uncomfortable and hard to utilize the full space of the backpack. Still a very solid option for EDC or full time camera bag.
I have used this for many, many years on countless international & regional trips, as I used to be a destination wedding photographer and now travel worldwide for leisure. It was indispensable in Europe and Japan when I would do 15k steps a day for several weeks. It is my go-to for my carry-on item. It is solid! Made well, looks great, good design. It is also quite recognizable :) I love the side zips, and the arm straps are great for distributing weight. I have been a loyal fan since the beginning of kickstarter when they sold the messenger bag.
Fantastic & stylish backpack, with minor drawbacks

The Backpack is as stylish as ever and very well made - so far I was not disappointed with any product made by PeakDesign. I like the material and the fact that there are plenty of pockets and small compartments. Nevertheless, there are a few things which I think are due for an update: - many of the small pockets are made from a soft mesh and close with a magnet. If items in the pockets are a bit larger, the magnet easily comes loose - I absolutely dislike the dividers. The flapping mechanism does not stay in place with heavier items such as camera lenses. Because they do only attach to the long sides, small to medium sized items easily fall through to the bottom at the sides - as I like to keep such items in the top compartment, I expect this to be annoying quite soon - while the closing mechanism of the top flap is satisfying an stylish, I am not yet sure how well it will keep items in long term due to the lack of a zippper - accessing items in the side flaps means the main compartment has to be opened. Some backpacks have 2 way access which would have been great - padding for a DSLR ist not great. I always feel like the item is moving around an needs additional padding to stay in place.
On the plus side, the backpack has a few defining features I think are a must for a camera backpack which are still quite rare at times: - 2 compartments for laptop & tablet (former is height adjustable!) - side access to the camera/main compartment
