SMedium: I was able to pack my Sony a7cr with cage, Sigma 17mm f/4, Tamron 20-40mm f/2.8, Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 with battery pack and a sleeve of filters into this thing. The Cube fits into my Osprey 34L snuggly, but it works. It's also nice to be able to throw a PD leash on it and use it more as a bag than a cube if need be. The dividers don't fit the gear I have as well as I'd like, hence the 4 stars.
So fed up with having to take everything out of my backpack one piece at a time at international security checkpoints. Now I just unzip and let them check everything at once
I purchased a medium Camera Cube v2 to avoid having to lug around my large Camera Cube v1 when I didn't need to carry around everything including the kitchen sink. To my chagrin, the v2 Cubes side access panels are smaller than on the v1 cube. The v2 cubes are also 2cm smaller in depth. This makes the new design incompatible with attached battery grips: the cube bulges when closed, and the camera is too large to be removed from the side access panels. Other than that, great product.
Bought for travel and used for the first time last weekend. The Smedium size is small enough to slip in to a back pack and big enough to carry all my essential travel kit. It housed a Sony A7 with 24-240, Sony A7C with 28-60, Sony 16-35, SamYang 35mm, batteries and I’m sure I could have wiggled another lens in there. Build is amazing and a lifetime warranty… wow. An absolute bargain
