Swiss Army Knife for Cameras!

I do a lot of hiking with a backpack, which needs to carry more than a camera. I purchased the Camera Cube V2 to provide a way to safely carry my camera, additional lenses and other gear with me. Depending on the location I'm heading, I switch up the accessories and may add my GoPro as well. The camera cube is fantastic for its durability, protection and flexibility. The ability to easier change its configuration to accommodate many different combinations saves me having to have several bags or cubes. I use my PD Slide strap to carry the cube when I'm out without my backpack and quickly switch it to my camera as needed. Peak Design is my go to for all camera related accessories, phone holders etc. I can't recommend their gear highly enough!

What's there not to love?

Everything Peak Design carries is well-thought-out and functional. This V2 camera cube is no exception. I have both smedium and medium sizes and they fit inside the 20L and 30L travel backpacks nicely. A smedium can easily accommodate my DJI Air 3, Mini 4 Pro, Action 4 and accessories without much bulk. Add a PD sling to the cubes and they can be removed from the backpack for an even more compact daily carry. Peak Design's recognition of military service with a discount, offered year around, is an added bonus.

Secures and organizes gear

Perfect fit to 30l travel backpack. As always it makes me feel safe, that even I drop it accidentally my gear won’t be damaged.

Love these cubes!

Could not believe the room in these cubes. Large holds everything. My favorite is the "smedium" cube. They are well made and extremely adaptable to the various needs of each individual.

Small V2 cube

I just got the cam for anyone wondering what it fits, in there I have:
16-35mm lens, a7cr with 40mm, 50mm a battery and an SD cards, it sits there with almost no space for anything else including bumps lenses are close to the edge of the walls, I would recommend a lens and camara with lens combo to avoid problems, unless you are extra careful with your bag.

I made this 4 start since it did not include a base strap of any kind with it, would be nice to have a cheap one bundled, or maybe a combo version with the strap in there, it is odd opening it and not seeing one (maybe I missed the disclaimer which states there is none.).
The dividers are nice nothing to write home about they do the job, something nice is that they include a divider which has a shelf option, if you are carrying pancake lenses you can easily stack 2 without worrying too much about them.
