Bad Tool

I bought this tool as it had good reviews. I charged the battery overnight to get ready for a project. I made two 4 foot cuts and it began to stall. I was cutting plywood. Not happy with this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design flaw -

Everything looked good in pictures. I needed a saw without the wires as I do yard work within a 40' x 22' area.
I am an Industrial Designer. I am left handed; once I removed the product from the box with my left hand, I realized that the activation button was designed solely for right handed users. The activate button should have been on the top for both left and right hand thumbs to operate it equally. I tried to return the saw and explained to the company the design flaw; the representative, bluntly stated that my refund period ran out and "have a nice day!".
Problem 2:
The saw when operated with the awkward and uncomfortable handle with the left hand, also cannot cut through any firm wood without constantly jamming and stopping unless I go extremely slowly with cut. So beware left handers: this product may not be for you.

Amazing Features!

I wanted to upgrade my tools as I was using old hand me down corded tools that didn't cut straight. After looking at all the major brands I settled on Worx mainly because of their versatility when it came to what each tool could do.
This circular saw has one of the best features out of all of the tools I bought. I struggled get the perfect rip cut by trying to measure the offset when using a rip cut clamp for plywood, so it would always be crooked or not the correct measurements. With this all you need to do is raise the red track, place it on your straight edge, and cut away. It couldn't be an easier and I'm glad I went with work tools.
I would recommend this to a friend!

fabulous saw

I have bought over ten worx tools over the past fifteen years. I recently bought the exact tract circular saw and really love it. Not only does it always cut straight on a line but as soon as your cut is done and you let go of the trigger it stops the saw blade immediately , not to mention that because it is worx it operates off a battery and not a cord . I give it 2 thumbs up. The only negative thing I have to say is I use to buy a lot of things using the three payments plan and now you don't seem to offer this anymore which has limited me from buying other tools. It will also handcuff me in the future as I am now on disability .

Cuts Like Butter

Just had a huge let down on the first use of the smaller circular saw. Found the problem with the saw so am hopeful a new one will cut well.
As for this saw it is light and quiet. The Saw Plate feel like Aluminum so there should be not flexing or twisting while cutting. First cut was on a sheet of OSB and it was like cutting butter. Hope it remain this good and reliable in the long haul. Verdict: It WORX!
