Excellent Smaller Vacuum

I was so surprised at the suction power of this vacuum. So far, I've only used it as a dry vac but am so impressed. I very glad I purchased this. I'll have to see if there are accessories for floor vacuuming. As long as the suction power stays as it is, I have no doubt that it will easily suck up water. I also like how easy it is to empty the collection bin. Bought an extra filter so if I do have to use it for liquid, it will have plenty of time to dry and I can keep using for dry vacuuming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost great

I was pretty excited for this until the first time I used it, I blew sawdust around. Unfortunately, the air vent is in the same direction as where hose connection, so if you aren't careful, you will blow what you are trying to vacuum. You can turn the vacuum but then you are fighting with a short hose. The other option is to pop off the vent hole cover and let it exhaust straight up... But in my test, that was pretty much always blowing in my face. Why they didn't put the main vent on the opposite side of the hose is beyond me. This may not bother everyone but it was a deal killer for me. I'm going to try a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Vac. Will use Only for Small Spills

Purchased to use only for wet. Existing wet/dry vac. requires removal of bag, etc. This way, I can grab and go (e.g., under wine refrig., overactive furnace humidifier). Instructions should state "Use filter for wet and dry".

This cordless vac is ready for cleanup anywhere! In the kitchen for spills,crumbs,etc.In the stairway for quick cleanup on the steps.In thye family room for fireplace cleanup.In the garage for sawdust,and tool cleanup.In the vehicle for cleanup.Very versatile unit.

Title sums it up. Great suction, good battery life. I bought it mostly because I already have 4 batteries (two 1AH; two 2AH) so I passed by other units battery included that cost less. Now for the bad. Designed with a fairly short suction hose, I can't imagine why the exhaust is on the same side as the hose attachment. When you point the hose at what you intend to suck up, the exhaust blows it! Makes you reposition the unit so the exhaust is directed elsewhere, so now that short suction hose spends half its extension going around the unit. Duh. Hopefully the chainsaw designers are different from the vacuum designers.
Yes, despite this I would recommend to others - unless you must have a long reach hose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the smaller version of this, and it works ok. But this one has more suction power to do the work I was hoping the smaller version would have. Just cleaned my car with it. No problem. It's nice not to worry about cord.
