Works but could use some help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of cleaning the gutters from the ground without the danger of climbing a ladder. In theory this would be an amazing product. I think it has a few flaws to be aware of. First it comes with a few extra pieces meant for specialized leaf blowers. I'm not sure how much extra I paid to own these special pieces of plastic I don't need, but it's unfortunate I had to pay extra for them. Next, some of the joints spin so that when you are trying to use the extension to push stuck leaves along the gutter to get them out, the tool tends to 'give' rather then lending some necessary pressure that would be very helpful. Finally, I found that one section or another was always coming loose or falling off so I am always having to stop to reconnect a part or put a tube back together or reattach the connection to my leaf blower. In the end it would probably just be quicker for me to climb the ladder and remove the leaves by hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible product!

I bot this back in August for my gutters. DOES NOT WORK!! just to try to hold up takes 2 people. No air. Adapter FLYS off constantly. Don't waste your $$!

Too unwieldy for use from the ground

I ordered this to attach to the new WORX leaf blower to clean the gutters.
Firstly, claims an 11' reach. Hardly. Maybe 11' from the ground. I measured the reach to my gutters before ordering, and I still need a step-ladder to reach. Better than the 20' extension ladder, I suppose.
Secondly, it requires 3 or 4-handed operation to clean the gutters. Because the connection of the gutter kit to the blower is a flexible sleeve, at full extension it is very difficult to control the long tube with one hand and hold onto the blower at the same time. It takes two people - one to hold the blower in an elevated position (otherwise the sleeve pulls off) and one person on the ladder to manipulate the extension tube with two hands. It would work better if it had a mechanical connection so the blower and extension tube worked as one piece.
Thirdly, the angle of the last nozzle piece doesn't quite work right. With the 600CFM blower I purchased there's still plenty of air at the nozzle. But the nozzle cleans the gutters better if it is blowing parallel to the gutter, rather than perpendicular. Which is the only way it really works because of the problem with operation above. If I cut the end of the nozzle off it might work a little better, but then it cannot be returned.

Heavy and awkward.

I bought this with the turbo. It is heavy. The connection to the blower needs to be redesigned. With turbo it wouldn't clear wet leaves from rain gutter.

Goes together very easily

I purchased this awhile ago, I received it and tried it, it worked pretty good if the leaves where dry, if wet not so good. I purchased to use on a Dewalt blower, it was not a good fit, but not that bad and it worked. I would buy again and think it a great idea!

I bought this Universal Kit in fall 2020 to clean garage gutters while standing on the ground (no ladder!) with a WORX TRIVAC 2 w/ Multi-Stage All Metal Mulching System (WG509) blower. Although I had high hopes, my WORX cordless blower (40V Power Share TURBINE Cordless Leaf Blower WG584) did not have enough power to work with this kit to blow out any leaves from a gutter at all.
The Gutter Cleaning Kit did not directly fit onto either of the above blowers, therefore I had to resort to using the 'universal' fabric sock connector that must be somehow fit over the exhaust port of a blower. In the case of the Trivac this means you must hold the blower upside down while using it. As it is a quite heavy machine this places a lot of stress on the sock. That weight plus the air pressure puts stress on the Zip-ties on both ends of the sock. Fortunately the near-blower Zip is a heavy-duty ratcheting type that, if you can find a solid anchor spot on your blower port and crank it down, will hold indefinitely. However it only took 15-min for the light weight zip tie on the other end to break. I had to repair that end several times until I found a stout enough zip tie. A wire tie would have worked better.
Once I had that connection working I noticed a dramatic loss of air from each connection of the air pipes. I put Gorilla Tape over each junction, except two, which stopped the air loss and most importantly improved the sturdiness of the pipe. The two junctions I could not tape were on the first section of pipe that connects to the sock. That pipe section, I found, swivels on one end if you install it properly into the sock adapter, and the other non-taped end allows disconnection of the rest of the long pipe and tip. I store that long taped pipe and tip on a hook on my garage wall.
Using the Trivac blower with this Gutter Kit does work quite well. It is a very powerful blower and packed, wet leaves with twigs do not stand a chance. The problems are that you can get very dirty being showered with gutter crud if not careful (wear safety glasses and a hat), and, operating and holding the Trivac is difficult because it is upside down so handholds are nonexistent and the on/off switch is not reachable. Sore shoulders are a given after a couple of hours of work.
Given all of that I still do not regret buying this kit because I got the job done (several times already this year). I just wish they would design it better.
