Wouldn’t recommend

Purchased this laptop for our daughter’s first year at University. She has only been using it for 3 weeks and laptop crashes constantly, Wi-Fi icon disappears and it overheats. We have done all the updates but it hasn’t solved the issue. We love ASUS, her high school laptop was ASUS and never gave her any problems. Not sure if the laptop we got is just a one off dud but we regret buying it. One good thing is that it is not heavy at all.

Costs more than a laptop with a dGPU.
iGPU performance is a tiny uplift over the last 2 years because of memory issues. CPU has inter-core latency which actually hurts performance in some tasks particularly games.
If you want a Cinebench laptop, this is the one for you, but for me, very disappointed.
Also the ROG Ally X has almost the same specs and costs HALF the amount of money as this laptop. Where is our ROG Ally Laptop instead of overprice bad products.
Might be a good laptop when it is seven hundred Canadian dollars cheaper.

Very Pretty, Runs hot

Very pretty and solid build. Gorgeous display. Runs way too hot. Laptop overheats when launching windows for the first time and when charging. Gaming is ok but its as hot as a generator.

5 Star if priced more reasonably

Too expensive considering that this laptop does not have a dedicated GPU. Great quality, performance and experience other wise.
Also, the sustained wattage doing CPU intensive loads is capped at 35W, while alternatives like the ProArt P16 caps out at 80W. Although that provides around a 30% gain for double the wattage, its still a little disappointing that the CPU can't reach its full potential in this device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed in overall quality

OLED screen and exterior design was nice. While it looks nice, the build quality is not great. My example had a plastic trim at the bottom of the screen popped out, and the lid made creaking sounds when opened. The glass could even be seen moving relative to the top case in one spot, as if it wasn't glued together properly. It didn't give me confidence this laptop would last for many years. The trackpad click felt cheap. Under load the computer got really hot even with fans at full speed, reminds me of the Macbook Pros from 2016-2019. Asus software is buggy, eg couldn't set the keyboard backlight to turn off after 10s, Windows Hello stopped working and computer needed to be rebooted, one time it didn't want to wake from sleep and needed a hard reboot.
