[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing the new dishwasher in an existing dishwasher location, we had to re-Plum and rewire from the previous two dishwashers. The waist pipe was in the far back left corner. The supply water connection was in the front left corner with other pieces of equipment, blocking a smooth connection. The electrical was just a junction box. Our previous dishwashers had cords already attached that we could plug into the outlet. The dishwasher runs fine when your engineers put these components together do they ever have to install the dishwasher or replace a dishwasher with what they put in the design I don’t think so. I’m a mechanical engineer, and I think the engineering needs to be addressed when it comes to connections for your customers in the public.

It is the best dishwasher we have had so far, and we had a number of different makes and models.
We are very happy because it cleans and sterilizes everything very well.

Quality and Simplicity in one unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last Maytag dishwasher had lost power after 24 years of service. It tuned out that one power line was shorting out at the wire nut. So it still works though I had already bought the new one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Quality hand pull on door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] just bought and had it installed. No power cord and was a challenge getting it in the space. Measured correctly but the Insultation wouldn't go in the space, it kept bunching up. HATE the hand hold to open the dishwasher door! I've had it 3 days and it's plastic underneath where you grab, it's going to break. Every time I open it, I feel it will crack. The door needs a tug to open, so it's an accident waiting to happen. Previous dishwasher was Whirlpool and lasted 21 years. Still worked great, but was concerned it would leak at some point. Feel like I made a mistake after all my research.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good solid dishwasher.

The only issue was that we did not get the model with a rinse cycle as we would have if we noticed, but that was our fault for not checking that.

The older model was better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Maytag lasted 14 years. This new one comes with NO owner's manual and no instructions on what exactly happens on each cycle. Takes a long time to wash and if you select "no drying" the dishes come out much, much wetter than with my old Maytag did. With no troubleshooting guide and no details on exactly how it works, I am doubtful about how long this one will last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
