Good portable grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've received this as a review item... Most of my experience with grills was the big stuff in the backyard and this was my first chance to try out a small one. While selecting this unit I ordered the stainless steel look and was expecting a nice finish on the surface for almost$100 price... However was a bit disappointed with the looks and the feel of the unit overall... The steel had some tooling marks... Unfinished or defect not sure..
The legs though a nice feature don't stay open as reliably for a product that would be a fire hazard...
The main job of grilling works well though. With the small size and smaller gas cans it's a lot easier to carry out on a camping trip.
If the material and looks were better along with the legs staying open better I would have rated it better...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill worked great in a small space. We were grilling veggies quickly after we opened the box. This is great for anyone who loves to grill. Definitely recommend.

Great for amateurs and grilling on the go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I could really get a good feel for this item, I had to take my time with this grill as 1. I've never owned my own grill, 2. Wanted to grill different types of meats and 3. I'm an amateur when it comes to grilling.
Getting this grill was by no means a way for me to grill on a regular basis, but it definitely serves its purpose as an easy way to grill without taking up too much space; and even an easy way to grill-on-the-go when I plan on going camping after the winter season. That being said, this is a great piece of grilling equipment for someone as inexperienced as myself and gets the job done without trying too hard.
So far I've grilled both chicken and steak on this thing and its cooked incredibly well and incredibly fast. I honestly never thought I could get these meats ready within just a few minutes. Aside from that, I'm a sucker for accessibility in terms of cleanliness, and this allows me to keep everything looking good as new after the few times I've used it.
Pros:
Small size perfect for traveling and grilling on the go
Heats up incredibly fast
Easy to clean
Perfect size for grilling enough in one go for small groups/tailgating
Cons:
Legs feel loose and had a tendency to slip out when collapsed in
Not ideal for cooking for a large party
Great grill, excited to use this more often!

Great table-top Grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a small grill to use with a camping propane bottle, this one does the job well, and cooks evenly. This grill is fairly straight-forward and easy to figure out. It would be perfect for tailgating or camping. I would recommend this grill.
Size:
The grill barely fits 6 burger patties (measured by Costco frozen sirloin burgers) at one time.
Pros:
-Excellent heat distribution. The grill gives even heat throughout the whole surface.
-Variable gas level works well. The flames do not go high, meaning you won't see the flames get close to the grill, but the high setting got the grill extremely hot. For thin-sliced chicken I had to use a middle setting.
-Grill pops out for easy cleaning. Was able to fit the grill in the sink.
-Has high quality grill surface, one that you would find on higher end models.
-Awesome built-in lighter. It works on the first try every time. I was actually unable to turn on the gas without it lighting, even after trying several times. You most likely won't need the match-holder that comes on the back of the grill.
-Well built, solid construction. This grill does not feel cheap.
Cons:
- A bit bulky- even with the legs folded, it still takes up a lot of space. When the legs are folded, it doesn't sit by itself well (so if you're looking to store it, or setting it aside to pack, you'll need to lean it against something.
-The legs could lock a bit better. One time when I set it on the table, one of the legs buckled, because I thought it was snapped into place but wasn't. Could have been user error though.
-The propane tank rubs against the grill when you screw it in. The label ripped off the canister upon installation. It needs another millimeter or 2 for a good fit.
-The lid is either all the way open, or all the way closed. It does not stay half-way open, if you're concerned about top-side heat or smoke level regulation.

Lights easy and gets hot, but that is about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't expecting much from Cuisinart, and I was right. While this grill is easy to fold up and take with you, and the gas canister tucks nicely in the back...it's lacking in so many ways.
Attaching the gas canister and lighting the grill was super easy, but when I tried to close the lid it wouldn't shut, the locking mechanism was malfunctioning and wouldn't allow the lid to completely close. I was able to do a DIY fix but not sure if it will hold.
The grill also did not heat evenly. Even when just warming up bread (to toast) there were spots that got severely burned before any other area was even that warm.
The feet of the grill are also made from cheap flimsy plastic and seem like they will break at any moment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice grill. Perfect size for tailgating and grilling on the go. Stainless steel makes it easy to clean and folding legs make it easy to pack up and store. A few downfalls would be that the lid latch needs a spring so it can latch automatically. The grease catcher doesn't lock in place and could easily fall out and get lost if you don't notice. Also, someplace to put spare cans of propane or the one being used while it's off for traveling would be nice. This grill will get plenty of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to use for Girl Scout camp outs. I have never used a grill before and it came when my husband was out of town. I was too excited to wait and have him help me figure it out. I'm so happy I didn't wait! This cute little thing was awesome and SO easy to use. I think it's going to be perfect for little outings!

Very nice looking - great size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice grill. Here are some of the things we found:
It is a good size and very easy to move around. The set up is quick and relatively simple. We did find there to be a bit of play in the legs when assembled. Not a big deal but does allow for some moving around.
We grilled burgers on this grill first and thought it did a very good job. We easily did 4 at a time and thought the cooking was very even. Later we did chicken breasts and felt that it took a bit longer than our bigger grill at home would have required, but not a problem.
Clean up was easy. I love how easily it folds up for storage. This is a solid item and seems very well built.
I would recommend this to a friend!
