I needed a small bistro table for my 8' wide deck, but big enough that two people could dine comfortably. This set is the perfect proportions. The only nit-picky comment I have is that the chairs are a bit narrow. I made sure to verify they were ok for the weight limit (wanted at least 250 pounds, and these are rated for 352 pounds). However, even though the weight limit is high, the proportions don't really make sense. I don't know how a person with an extra 100 pounds could fit in the chair. I already rub up against the arms and worry that the chair will be stuck to my rump when I stand up.
