Uncomfortable Cushion Seat

I weigh 300 pounds and bought a chair rated for 500 pounds with a 6 inch cushion. Needless to say, I expected a nice comfortable seat. I'm handicapped with back and hip problems. I sit in the chair for long hours daily. Now I find myself researching cushions to purchase to put on the chair seat so that I can sit without my tailbone, back, and hips hurting. I like everything about the chair except the seat, which was my number one concern when I chose this one to purchase. I assumed a chair with a 6 inch cushion rated for 500 pounds would do the trick for a 300 pound man. Obviously, I was wrong.

I could not be happier with this HERCULES Office Chair so far (1 month-ish)!!! I am 6' 2", weigh 400lbs, and I searched long and hard for the perfect office chair before buying this one. It is plenty wide enough for me to sit in, the hydraulic cylinder holds my weight just fine so far, and I like how I can recline back without feeling like I will fall over. The chair is very comfortable to sit in all day and looks it great! It is a very fine piece of furniture!
Just a note here... The chairs assembly is farely simple. Just look at the easy to follow instructions. I did it by myself during the time I was in a wheelchair with a broken leg.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Chair delivered and easy to put together. Chair is definitely wide enough and comfortable to sit in for several hours. The only drawback at all is that you cannot lean back in the seat.
