This is my third desktop from HP. My first one made it 10 years, my most recent one 9 years. Both were still working but it was time to upgrade each time. I did a high end Envy desktop as i figure this computer might now outlast me. I was also able to now set up a dual monitor system with my old monitor which itself is 9 years old.

I am underwhelmed. I am older and maybe not up on all the computer skills of a young person but there were no instructions, no start up CD's to load. I'm still trying to set up my personal preferences without a clue as to how. Also, I purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse, the sales rep. said nothing about the wired mouse and keyboard that came with my computer, so have I paid for both? Thanks, but no.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The desktop is much faster than expected. It runs Davinchi Resolve almost 10 times faster than my i5 from 5 years ago. Having intel 10400 processor with Nvidia 4 gb card works well together. The SSD hardrive creates almost instant startup. Goodjob!

I recently purchased this computer to replace my 6-year-old HP. I don't like being required to enter a pin or a password. I don't like the on button that is set too far into the computer. It should extend out beyond the face of the computer so that I don't have to stick my fingernail inside it to turn it on. I don't like that it has Microsoft Edge as the default browser, but that can be changed. I had a difficult time syncing my bluetooth speakers too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
