Fantastic Projector

This project has exceeded my expectations. I am blessed to have a dedicated media room. There are no windows or outside light for me to worry about. So, the colors come through very well. The setup is easy and I was up an running in less than 30 minutes.

Awesome projector!

Had it for 5 days now. Picture could be brighter in the day time. My living room is also not blacked out that's why. You will need a screen especially if your walls are textured like mine.. product is good for 20,000 hours . Hopefully I can buy an extended warranty. Don't want issues 2-3 years down the road
I would recommend this to a friend!

If the image is too dim, you may want to enable Vision Boost which optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the light level in your room and the content you're viewing.
Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode > Adaptive Picture > Vision Boost
You may also want to try adjusting image settings to improve your picture. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Movie: Suitable for watching content in a dark room
4. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also customize the brightness level of your screen between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
Please also make sure you’ve got the latest firmware version installed on your Projector. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying out Samsung’s Premiere 7 Laser Projector (LPU7D, 2024), and honestly—it’s a really fun way to bring the movie theater home without having to hang a giant TV on the wall.
The biggest win is the ultra-short throw design. You can set it just a few inches from the wall and still get a massive screen (up to 120 inches). No ceiling mounts, no messy wires—just drop it on a cabinet and go. The design itself looks clean and modern, so it blends in nicely instead of screaming “projector.”
The picture quality is solid—4K via pixel-shift looks sharp, and Samsung’s AI upscaling does a decent job making lower-res stuff look better. That said, it’s not the brightest projector out there. If you’ve got a lot of sunlight in your living room, the image can look a little washed out. It really shines in a dark room, though—movies and shows feel way more immersive.
I also like that it’s basically a smart TV in projector form. You’ve got Samsung’s Tizen OS, streaming apps, even a gaming hub built in. No need for extra boxes unless you want them. The built-in speakers are surprisingly decent too—30 watts with Dolby Atmos. Obviously, a soundbar or surround system is going to beat it, but for casual watching, it’s more than fine.
If you’ve got a controlled lighting space and want a stylish, all-in-one projector that doubles as a giant smart TV, the Premiere 7 is a solid pick. It’s not the best choice if you’re battling a bright room or want absolute top-tier picture quality.

Love my Premiere. Crisp picture. Great for gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 8K resolution at over 120 inches. Works well with all of my consoles. Easy setup and you can move it around from room to room if needed. Only downside is that the picture-in-picture only works with Samsung TV channels and not all HDMI devices.
