Like most people who have had to work from home during this pandemic and needed a printer! I had been on the look out for a new printer and this opportunity came up. It replaced an older printer from the same brand which was over 10 years old.
It was one of the easiest things to set up! I have it on all devices and it connected perfectly and works at a push of a button.
The printer has many features as per the usual but I really like the instant print feature. Subscription printing! I have already received my ink and it seems to last forever. Never run out of ink again.
I have printed many photos with the photo paper and must say the quality is excellent. You can make any adjustments via the app including changing the paper size. Very simple to us.
It scans and copies. Once you start it, it sends it straight to the device of your choice. Very clever and efficient. I would definitely recommend this printer for the home office or even a small business.

The product came well packaged. I set up the printer following the instructions and had no issues putting the ink in.It took me a bit of time to set up the software side of things but is great once it's done. I can print my documents from my phone in no time.
The printer is really quiet and prints quickly. I love learning about what this printer can do. It can scan, copy and print. This printer will definitely help me while working from home and printing my sons school work.

This is my second HP Officejet Printer which as expected is a great machine. Its is a bulky machine and you'll need space to keep it stored somewhere. HP Smart setup is a great app and as long as you use it you will have no problems what so ever. It is smart, simple and very efficient. A great all in one and would recommend

With then current situation, our office have restructured and lots of us are working from home. I found my current bog standard printer arduous and just not up to the job. This printer is a game changer. Easy to use, quick and user friendly. I would recommend to anyone working from home or just in need of a new printer.

First impressions of the HP Officejet 8012e were very positive. It came very well protected and included starter inks to get you going.
I unpacked and removed all the protective tape and cardboard, then installed the cartridges. They were shrink wrapped in plastic and had a tear strip so you can easily open them. The outlet is protected by a twist off cap which is quite tough to remove. One thing I noticed there was no indication as to whether the orange cap is recyclable, so I assumed it was not, which is disappointing.
After this was completed, I put some paper (not supplied) in the tray and plugged it in to get started. As I already own a HP Envy printer, I had the app on my phone so it was just a case of adding the new printer.
My phone is on the android operating system, but I had problems getting the app to add the printer. Despite being correctly configured I could not get it to work. Luckily I have the app on my iPad and this connected the printer seamlessly.
A firmware update was available so this downloaded and installed, then the printer was ready to start with the cartridge alignment. This is straightforward, it prints out an alignment page which you then put onto the scanner and the printer configures the rest. This makes it easy for anyone at any IT level to setup.
Been using the printer for a couple of weeks now, some things I have printed are party invites, sewing patterns, room plans and the usual mundane life documents.
Very happy with the quality but have encountered a small blip; sometimes the printer "hangs on" to a document until you print another. No idea why but it doesn't always do it.

I use my printer at home a lot for my work. Having a printer that is fast, reliable and also one that works from my phone is a must. This printer looks stylish, doesn't take up a huge amount of space and does exactly what it promises to.
The print quality is fantastic and the printer speed is better than other "home" printers I've had in the past.
I would definitely recommend!

HP OfficeJet 8014e All In One Colour Printer was super easy to install. It took me literally 20 minutes to set up cartridges and follow a step by step guide on the printer screen. There was also a simple manual enclosed. It was equally easy to connect the printer to my phone and the laptop. I'm now able to scan documents in batches. The sound of the printer can be adjusted for lower speed/lower volume. I was a bit concerned about the size of this device but it's a good compromise to scan/copy documents in batches from the top. I've also signed up for 6 months of free instant ink. This should take care of any replacement cartridges and recycling of the old ones.

I have taken my time to thoroughly test out this printer and must say this is the best I have tried out of many, I have had for my small business yet ! It is fast to print, perfect every time, and easy to use, what's not to like about it ?? Also the instant ink trial is great, no more needing to constantly keep checking ink levels, and worrying about re ordering, as it does it all for you, how clever. Very easy to set up too, with minimal fuss and no expert knowledge needed, I was up and running in 10 minutes. Love having the app on my phone as I need to print quite a few times a day, so as soon as I open an email and see something I need printed off, I just press print and hey presto , off it goes to the printer, and out it comes! All in all , a great little set up for anyone , from the occasional, to the prolific printer.
