My old HP printer was well overdue an upgrade and this one seemed ideal. The HP+ subscription helped seal the deal, as never running out of ink and extended warranty is a bonus. It was slightly larger than I expected when I turned up, but that’s because I was used to a compact all in one. Whereas this is more for the home office situation. The setup was easy, but did take a short while, as setting up the HP+ part needed a lot of extra information. But now that it’s setup it will be easy when this one gets replaced next. The Smart Print feature is great, and makes it easy to print from anywhere from any device. The ink top up pack came through the post quite quick too. The speed of print is much faster than my old one, so that gets a massive thumbs up too! Overall, I’m really happy with this printer and would certainly class it as a great home office printer, rather than occasional personal printer

I would definitely recommend this printer all in one to anyone . I really struggle with technology and setting new things up but this one for me was really easy and was ready to use in less than 5 minutes . Super easy to print as you are using your phone don’t have to connect your laptop or anything like this so when you are in the rush to print this would be your number 1 to go . It doesn’t also take much space in the room and including scanner etc

I have been using printer for a few weeks now and it has been great. It was very easy set up and install, the HP Instant Ink subscription is a great idea and very cost effective, you just choose a plan that best suits your needs and you're good to go. I do have to mention though, that sometimes the LCD touch display is not as responsive as I would like, but since it's basically all online and wireless, I don't really need to touch it that often anyways. Working mostly from home, this printer is a great helper and I would happily recommend it to everyone.

I wanted a new printer as I was having trouble connecting my old one to my new broadband (old one was about 7 years old!). This was the perfect package, easy to set up (with the slight exception of getting the orange covers off the ink cartridges, which felt like I was going to break the whole cartridge). But once that was done it was really simple to setup. Print quality is significantly better than my previous printer and would easily pass for a larger office printer. If only I had had this a few months ago when we were printing pages and pages of schoolwork daily when the kids were home learning during lockdown!

Running a small business from home can be challenging without a reliable printer. Before the purchase, I was wondering how fast and efficient this printer would be. Unboxing and set up was fairly easy but I couldn’t find the exact model of the printer on the website or the app. Finding and connecting all my devices to the printer was straightforward, though. Upon first use, I noticed that the printer is pretty fast and not too loud. This multifunctional device offers double-sided printing and single-sided scanning. The print quality is excellent and so is the HP Smart app which allows remote printing. The LCD touch screen is very responsive but the off button doesn’t work for me and I’m having to turn it off at the mains at the end of the day. As a moderate user, I find HP Instant Ink is just about enough, but you do need to keep an eye on your printing load. While the subscription offers great value for money, heavy users need to be prepared to spend extra on expensive cartridges. Overall, it’s a great printer for home or a small office. Fast, quiet and easy to use, it produces high quality prints and scans. It provides excellent value for money for light to moderate users with Instant Ink and I couldn’t recommend it more!

This printer is easy to set up and to use. I had an Envy before and I compared the two. The quality of the printing is the same but the Envy pictures come out clearer. Apart from that, the new printer works fine and I would recommend it to others.

This printer has taken over my old HP 2600 ser...

This printer has taken over my old HP 2600 series and is a million times better. I was able to set it up without much bother, I had a small issue with getting it to connect with the app, but since then it's been great. I've only printed documents and scanned but plan on printing photos in the future. The printing is quite fast and comes out clear and dry. It's great for what I need, it looks good and easy to use, and the instant ink is a great idea. I'd recommend it.

Having been out of the home printer game for a very long time, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this. The deal breaker was the scanning facilities for me!
Now I am certainly no super computer geek but I do love getting my teeth into the setting up of any new gadget/device that I get my paws on.
I followed the instructions both on the built in onscreen display on the printer. I must add at this stage that the enclosed start up guide although very simple and straightforward, weren’t that great.
Now the model I purchased was the 8012 e, It would help if the exact model was listed (you are told it is important to enter your full model name exactly as stated on the machine). Not helpful when, after having done this, you are told there is nothing listed under that description! Felt like I was going crazy at this stage.
There were a few thwart moments when I walked away from the printer, as it tested me to the limits, especially when it came to the wifi set up Grrrr!! The app was very tedious and it didn’t recognise the printer at first, after several attempts & conceding defeat I was greeted by an error message of having to contact the help desk, for further assistance. This resolved itself and I didn’t have to make contact with the service desk for assistance.
Once set up completed via the HP Smart app, printing is really quick compared to the heavy duty printers I have at the office. Scanning is really quick as well and the document feeder is an added bonus. General printing quality, the build quality is solid and very sturdy or the price.
By biggest disappointment and shock is the eye watering prices for ink replacement. The printer is Instant Ink Ready with 6 Months Trial Included. *BUT* This needs to be registered within 7 days of purchase to take advantage of the trial offer.
Me being me really went in deep on this and Investigated all the small print before making any form of commitment initially I decided on the 3.99 a month plan which gives 100 pages/month. I selected this plan as being a new printer there would be a likelihood (new toy syndrome) of higher volume printing, having done a few quick calculations in my head, after all what could go wrong, as the small print said I could downgrade the chosen plan at any time.
Contrary to the product description This printer (8012) does NOT scan both sides automatically. I have been trying to utilise this function to no avail. Overall a good all round solid multi-functional printer!
