Awesome sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy set up just plug in and go! The sound is great and no need to mess with settings this does it all for you. Even at its highest volume setting there is almost no distortion great sound all around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great sound for apartment dweller!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bar solved one of the issues I had: I needed good sound in front of my TV standing on a shelf. Then, the soundbar had to be low to the surface so as not to block the image.
This soundbar looked to fit the bill properly, and it does with one issue (with silver lining). I adjusted bass to max (hold HDMI button for a bit, then just use volume buttons up/down), and even then there was not enough bass. I wish it came with or could be connected to a separate subwoofer, that would make this a perfect soundbar. Sadly, I am having to listen to my movies and sound with a bit less bass than what I hear through, say, my headphones.
There is a silver lining to this, though. Because bass is not pronounced (but well audible), you won't bother your neighbors as much while watching a movie or listening to your tunes.
I'd recommend this soundbar if you live in an apartment. It's compact, sounds great otherwise, and won't bother your neighbors as much!

It also can do the smart speaker things like alexa, google, etc, but I haven't used it for that purpose, so can't tell how well the microphones pick up voice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great bass from a sleek setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, for the size of this soundbar, the bass is pretty great, as no extra subwoofer would be needed for most rooms. I have a 40 inch TV in my room and this bar fits well in front of it. The sound fills the room very well, and honestly can even fill an entire living room just fine. I love that it has controllable bass, once turned up, it is pretty great! I like that I can stream to this bar at any time through my phone as it's always on standby, so instantly I can connect through my favorite music streaming service. One thing, however, it seemed like the HDMI connection to a TV did not carry as good of sound. Overall, for the price, this soundbar easily can be the only system needed for a home theater!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features, sound and connection options

I bought this a week ago after hours of extensive research. I wanted a soundbar for a bedroom with ample bass, but not a separate subwoofer. I needed one that I could turn off and use my bluetooth headphones at night. I wanted one that would sync nicely with my Sony Bravia TV. Other bars I tried had occasional audio/video sync issues. So far, there have been 0 issues with this soundbar. The, for my purposes, is crisp and clear. If I had to pick a single con, it would be that an app would be useful. In fairness, the newer bar 300 which replaces this model does include an Android/IOS app. You have to do a series of button presses on the remote to change the base level, A/V sync level, etc., but after reading the manual and watching several YouTube videos, I had no trouble at all. I'm enjoying it as I write this and couldn't be happier.

Amazing sound and virtualization for its size

Bought this to replace TV speakers on a 32" TCL LED TV in a bedroom, amazing transformation off the HDMI ARC. The clarity, bass, and virtualization which is really immersive at times (source depending of course). Setup was easy for HDMI ARC, actually more of a pain on the TV side to enable all the goodies (ARC, CEC, Dolby etc). I was at first annoyed by the Wifi setup via Google Home (not required as it turns out), but this does allow for automatic firmware updates otherwise you need to do it via USB. Also, it is really worth downloading the full user manual to learn how to get access to additional features not covered in the Quick Start via the remote that comes with the soundbar most notably the soundbar includes the ability to setup/adapt itself for the room much like a full A/V receiver. Bluetooth pairing and music play from PC or phone was painless. I have no need for Chromecast so that was not tried.

Crisp speech in huge room, tv remote controls it

Better than my Bose soundbar 🫢! I am using it in a 18x21ft room and the sound is way crisper than my Samsung 70” nice tv speaker. I prefer no base box because the base drowns out some speech clarity IMO. I love that I use my tv remote for volume and play music from my phone. Like others said, I found myself not reading subtitles….whaaaat?!
