The cleaning of the machine is a little tedious, but for the work it does, it is a small price to pay. I even cleaned a small stain out of a rug! This is worth the investment in my opinion. With 2 Cats , one who is a Maine Coon, and Chewbacca for a husband, keeping hair and debris off my wood and tile floors is a full time gig! I'm glad I added the Bissell to my home care regimen.

We have all hardwood or tile in our house so having this is a lifesaver, especially for those rainy days. You do have to clean/rinse off parts of the cross wave after each use but it takes about 5 minutes. I recommend this to anyone who wants to save time and hates scrubbing their floors! #sweepstakes
