[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does everything I need it to do. I was looking for a machine to do basic office work, watch movies, and play old video games. This one does all of those well. My last Lenovo lasted for 10 years, I only bought a new one because OS requirements dictated I do so
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been an HP devotee for over 20 years, but my last two laptops from them have had issues. When I needed a new laptop, my wife suggested looking at a Lenovo laptop because that was what she used at her job and she really liked how they performed. An HP with the same specs cost over $300 more than this Lenovo. The Lenovo was super easy to set up and it works perfectly. It’s fast, it performs and functions well, the keyboard has a nice feel and I am happy with the purchase.
After spending some time with the ThinkPad E16 Gen 2 Intel (16″), I can confidently say it’s a solid workhorse for professionals like myself who need reliability, performance, and a comfortable typing experience. Lenovo has always been known for its durable ThinkPads, and this one is no exception.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best surprise was how easy the migration from my replaced IdeaPad L340 to the new ThinkPad E16. Once both machines were fired up I was amazed how all my files and aps were on my desktop as well as stored copied over to the new ThinkPad. I also signed up for Premier Service and received excellent help when I found that Print options like Draft vs Color and preview were not available. Lenovo suggested reloading the Epson driver and I was back to perfect.
I looked for 17 inch screen which I have used for years. I had to chose a 16 inch and find it to be fine. I have had it only for a few weeks so stil getting to know each other.
Note: My MS WORD documents that I have on Windows 10 are not able to work with WIN 11 unless I start paying for an annual cost to upgrade to MS 365.
I do not like how Lenovo and Microsoft have set my preferences for my computer and will not allow me to change them. If I want to change my web browser, I should have the capability to do that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years we have had a number of ThinkPad's. We have not had the units very long but expect to get the performance the ThinkPad's are noted for. I like the touch screen, (never had one before) it saves a lot of time and effort in moving the point to start things up. My spouse likes that RED button in the keyboard very much. The ThinkPad E16 Gen 2 Intel (16") turned out to be a great upgrade for us. We both liked that it is fast compared to our older ones. Its great on how you squeezed out a little more screen, area. The display quality is very crisp and clear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad E16 Gen 2 works perfectly. When I connected it to the internet Windows Update updated my computer and Lenovo Vantage updated my computer. The touch screen is wonderful. The speed is great.
