[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sleek and versatile. Perfect for cold weather or warm weather with the a/c and heater combo. Easy to install. Cools the room off very fast and well—can even withstand this Georgia heat! Just ensure you have a 230 volt outlet. The three different options for cooling is amazing especially the sleep option and the ability to schedule the time on/off with the remote from anywhere in the room. Truly amazing!!

Great through-the-wall AC unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m been really happy with this Wirlpool AC Unit. It is a 12,000 BTU through the wall unit, not a window unit. It does a great job cooling a medium sized room pretty quickly, and the airflow feels strong and consistent. It also has heat controls for cooler days, so it’s useful year-round. Needs to be installed with a wall sleeve through the wall. It also comes with a remote that makes it easy to adjust settings without getting up. It does create some noise, but the noise level is what you’d expect for this type of unit. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable option if you’re looking for a permanent AC solution.

Great cooling power, but installation depends on y

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by how this Whirlpool Through The Wall Air Conditioner works. We installed it in our garage, and it cooled the space down in about 10-15 minutes. Living here in Arizona, I'm curious to see how it performs in the peak summer heat, but so far it's doing a great job.
One of my favorite features is the remote - it makes it super convenient to adjust settings without having to walk over to the unit. I also love that you can program it to turn on and off at certain times. It comes with multiple options, including three cooling speeds, an eco function, and a sleep function, so you have plenty of flexibility depending on your needs.
A couple of things to note: it does not come with a wall sleeve, but the required dimensions are listed in the owners manual. If you already have a sleeve that fits, installation is pretty easy. However, if you don't (like us), it can turn into a bigger project. Our existing wall opening was larger than the unit, so we had to do some extra work to make everything fit.
Also, the unit we received had some damage on the back, but since it slides into the sleeve, we were so able to use it without any issues.
Overall, it's a solid AC unit that cools efficiently and has great features - just make sure your installation setup is compatible before getting started.

Powerful a/c unit with heat!

We have converted our garage into a “hang out” spot with a pool table and karaoke machine etc. We love hanging out in there. Unfortunately, it is not connected with our central heat/air system. We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple. It is a solid unit that should last for years!
