Great coffee, not great reliability

Title says it all. First machine quit working after 10 months. Nespresso sent a replacement and that one lasted 3 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy!!!!

I bought this machine in November 2020 and it worked amazing for the first 11 months. Then randomly I could not get it to brew for the life of me. It seems to be a consistent issue where it starts to brew, blinks two orange lights and then nothing. I’ve wasted so much money on unused pods and so much time trying to get it to work! I ended up getting a replacement machine, which started doing the same exact thing only two/three weeks later. This machine is extremely frustrating and not worth your time! Thankfully, the awesome Nespresso team is sending me a new model but they need to discontinue the VertuoNext. There is no reason I should go through two machines within a year, both having the same unresolvable issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do NOT buy

This is my third type of Nespresso machine. It is absolutely horrendous and I am so disappointed because I love my other two. I have already had to have a new one sent from Nespresso and will have to have another one sent now. Absolutely ridiculous that they keep selling this faulty product!!! If you want constant heavy leaking and mold then this is the machine for you.

Pretty....Loud

Bought this machine to replace the original Vertuo we purchased as a refurbished unit several years ago. While this Teal and Rose Gold machine is exceptionally attractive to look at it has some glaring flaws. 1. It is way louder than the original, at an obnoxious level. Do not expect the wife to sleep through your first cup. 2. The water tank is a pain to deal with. If you have it under a cabinet and you don't pull it out and check it before you brew there's a high likelihood you can accidentally brew a half cup, Super annoying, but hey it's 5.5 inches wide so yeah.... 3. Crema is different than the original. The bubbles created are much larger in size than the original machine. 4. It's always wet inside. The cup receptacle retains water, when you open the lid there's leak down into the spent cup well. Seems kind of flawed in it's design that way. 5. Locking the lid is now a two handed operation. The original machine we could do the whole thing one handed, heck with a couple fingers if you have the grip strength, not so on the Next. So, buyer beware, newer is not always better. Buy an original and you'll probably have it a decade with proper maintenance.

Broke

Broke after one month of use, started leaking water everywhere & then completely stopped working all together. Too expensive to be broke after a month of use.

Very helpful in trying to fix it and they were successful for about five days. After that it’s crapped out completely. My old one is still going strong, the new one is much cheaper construction

Great coffee but pick another machine

We purchased our first vertuo next machine and it didn’t work from the beginning. Customer service was amazing and we were able to get a new machine and send the other back. I wrote a review saying how much I loved this machine…. 3 months down the road this machine stopped working. We trouble shot with an expert, again. This was after trouble shooting, on our own, for several days. Because our machine is still under warranty they’re going to replace it. We will NOT get the next model this time. Clearly something is off on the parts end. It’s nearly the same issue that our other machine started off with. We recommend vertuo but we do not recommend the next model. Bummer that we have several carafe sleeves which will only work with the next model.

Please please do not buy!

I have had this machine for a month and already it has stopped working. None of the troubleshooting fixed whatever issue. Customer service was excellent to work with though. They offered to exchange the machine for another one free of charge and giving me a shipping label to return this one. It's sad bc I got the teal/rose gold one and it is absolutely beautiful, but it lasted no time.
