Horrible, terrible & not worth it.

Frother broke after a few uses, the machine itself broke under a year of having it. Not impressed. Do not waste your money.

All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week. Breaking up after 4 months...

LOVED this machine for 4 months, then it kept giving me error lights/messages (I agree with a previous review that the instructions are NOT helpful). So I cleaned it, then descaled it and proceeded to waste 5 Peppermint Pinwheel pods (noooo!) because the machine would act like it was going to work, and then flash orange and stop. I did contact customer service and they were EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! did some troubleshooting and determined my machine has a software issue so they are replacing it. I chose a different Nespresso for the replacement. I DO recommend the Nespresso, but not this model (Vertuo Next).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Let me just say, I was incredibly psyched that nespresso came out with a larger cup size machine… purchased in November 2021, within a month, it broke.. customer service gladly sent a replacement, fast forward less than two weeks with the machine and again, it’s broken. Just flashes blue and then absolutely nothing happens… they’re sending me another vertuo machine, but the plus. Hopefully this one won’t break within a week or two of having it… def do not boy the next! It’s a great concept, but it isn’t reliable.

A blinking light on the Vertuo Next machine can indicate your machine is not closed correctly, requires descaling or the water tank is empty.

Poor machine quality, but makes great coffee...

Poor machine quality, but makes great coffee when it works.
I purchased the Vertuo Next June 1, 2021. The machine is quite temperamental, but makes great tasting coffee. Now the downside, this machine worked (although inconsistently) for 5 months and then it completely stopped working. After calling the customer service number (very nice associates) and spending around an hour on the phone, I was told I needed to send my machine in for repair. The repair would take 1-2 weeks, so I boxed up the machine and shipped it as instructed. After not hearing anything from Nespresso for 2 weeks, I called to inquire about progress. I was told that due to how busy they were, it would be 4-6 weeks for my repairs. At that point I expressed my disappointment in the quality of the their product and the sad state of not having a coffee maker with plenty of their expensive coffee pods on my shelf. I was then informed that I should have been sent a "loaner machine"; however, they did not have any "loaner machines" at this time. Boy that should have been a red flag for me, we all live and learn. So again I waited, with no coffee maker and a shelf full of expensive coffee pods. After 4 weeks, I still had not heard anything from Nespresso, so again I called inquiring about my machine. Again customer service associate was very polite and said she would send a replacement machine. Now I wait again. I am hopeful that the next machine works long term, as by time I get the replacement machine there will be less than 6 months left on the warranty. Fingers crossed.
And don't even get me started on the 3 (yes 3 machines, 1 original purchased machine and 2 replacement machines) Vertuo Next machines that my mother-in-law have had over the past 4 months. As I am typing this, she is waiting on her 4th machine (3rd replacement in 4 months). This machine really should be recalled and redesigned.

Love the Vertuo coffee; the machine, not so much.

I LOVE my Nespresso coffee. I just wished I loved the Vertuo Next coffee machine half as much. My machine broke after five months and a replacement was sent free of charge. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly customer service offered to replace the item. About four months after the new machine arrived, I began having all sorts of problems with it as well. The coffee is fantastic, but for the price of the coffee and price of the machine I would expect a better product. I would recommend a different Vertuo machine until they can work out the bugs with this model.

Poor design

From the very first cup of coffee (which DID taste great), water would flow and/or drip from the sides while brewing, so I would either have to stand over the machine like a hawk with paper towels, or just accept the fact that a small pond of water would form on my countertop, EVERY TIME. Appears to be a more than common issue with this Vertuo model. I returned my Vertuo Next (Amazon). Seems like other Vertuo models are a better choice. 2 stars (only because I was lucky enough to get a decent cup of coffee, as promised)

If I could give it a zero...

This machine is not a machine because it doesn't work. I have had 2 Next machines since September 2021 and January 2022. But! The customer service at Nespresso is A++++ they corrected the issue for me. Yes, I had to call them on both occassions but you talk to a rep fairly quickly. I would suggest the Evoulo that has 4.8 stars. This is on order and will arrive in a few days. Hoping for better results because the coffee is wonderful.

Next machine

Had this machine for about 2 weeks and only used 4 times then started leaking. Customer service is amazing with this company . They sent a replacement but this machine needs to be updated way to many issues
