I am on my 3rd machine as there is always grounds in the coffee which is confirmed everytime I video call the technician. I have asked for a credit to spend the amount on a more expensive machine with Nespresso which has been declined on more than one occasion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Machine is defective. 2 bad machines

We are sending back our 2nd Vertuo Next machine due to it not working properly. We had an earlier Vertuo machine since 20005 and had no problems. Try a different model and save yourself the hassle. Customer service has been great! Just a defective model.

Trying to figure out which machine to buy?

We have had many Nespresso Machines both Original and Vertuo Lines. The first Evoluo machine has been great! We have had it for years and it makes a nice foamy cup of coffee, and we don't have to fill the water tank too often which was nice. We have the Vertuo Plus in our office and we do like it, the tank is pretty large so again we don't have to fill it too often and its probably Nespresso's most quite machine, the only thing I don't like is the electronic component of loading in a pod, I just don't think its necessary but it wasn't a deal breaker... With the New Vertuo Next.. So far I am very disappointed, it's the smallest water tank and with 2 people in the house you will be refilling the water tank daily if you both drink 2 cups of coffee. Its ironic that the machine with the smallest water tank makes the largest pod of coffee (The Caraffe).. and also Nespresso says this machine will get foamier over time, but so far its not very foamy, and the coffee doesnt taste the same or as good as the older machines I have.

Too many problems!

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I had one month of great coffee before getting the orange lights of doom. I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of giving another Next a shot only to have it break as well, so I returned it for a Vertuo Plus and I'm much happier. I dragged my old K machine out while I was doing the return and there's no comparison. Coffee is great, just seems like this particular machine is missing the mark on reliability.

Never experienced a worse machine!

Have had to replace this machine twice now! Constantly malfunctions and is incredibly difficult to troubleshoot. Very frustrating when you're about to leave for work and try to make a cup of coffee and it simply won't. Buy a different machine!

Always find coffee in recycling bin

After I had this about 2 weeks the machine started dumping coffee into the recycling bin. I called the help desk and he told me to clean the pot. He told me to stick a toothpick or paperclip end in the place where the pod goes to clear out any coffee residue. Neither one of them fit in the hole. He then told me to run very hot water through the machine by pressing the brew button 3 times. After I completed that I tried to brew the coffee. The first cup came out ok but the second cup only filled up 1/2 way and emptied into the pod recycling bin. Thtis continues to be a problem. My daughter has machine and it has never done this. This makes a great cup of coffee when it goes in the cup.

Great coffee, but prepare to get a new machine

I bought this Nespresso and thought the coffee tasted great but am on my second machine in 2 weeks. I am going to need a new one again because after 1 week, the machine empties the entire water tank into my coffee cup and shakes and spews water everywhere. Disappointing

I love Nespresso BUT

The Vertuo Next has a major design flaw - just had to replace the second one in a month!
I have been a Nespresso Vertuo user since 2008 & happy with my other machines. Hope they get this worked out.
