Coffee is delicious. Machine not so great.

I had two of them and both machines got stuck in the descaling mode and had to be replaced. Customer support was always very helpful in replacing but still annoying to deal with the issues.

I've had this machine since February, 2022. Unfortunately for the past month or so this machine only presses coffee when it feels like it. When cold (i.e., first capsule in the morning) it will refuse to make coffee at all and I am currently losing 1 to 2 capsules a day due to the machine ruining them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most unreliable machine I’ve ever had

Have returned this machine twice now, both models worked for a few months then just stopped brewing. Tried descaling and cleaning and nothing worked. Frustrating!

When turning on your machine, allow the machine to warm up. The light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked with a slight click sound. For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week. Didn’t even last 2 weeks

I was so excited for my first nespresso machine. To say the least… this one did not live up to my expectations. Around the 2 week mark of having this machine it completely stopped brewing, then it started leaking all over my counter.
I will say though, I’m very impressed with nespressos customer service. They were great at replacing this machine for me with little to no hassle- with that being said this product has way too many faults and I don’t see why they don’t just discontinue this product.

Consistent Breakdown

I had an original Vertuoline for 6 years problem free until I moved and it sat unused for just a bit too long, so I decided to upgrade. I ordered the “Next”. First model failed after 2 months with inexplicable random blinking and electronic defects. Second unit they sent me failed with a ‘laser failure’ so it can’t read the pods and times out on every other attempt to brew. Replacing with an older, more reliable model. Vertuoline is a great product, but the Next appears to be rife with defects in design and/or manufacturing. A friend at Nespresso confirmed this.

Do No Buy - Nespresso Should Discontinue the Model

I've owned many Nespresso machines over more than a decade. The Vertuo Next is unworkable and unreliable. A simple Google search results in thousands of similar complaints. I was forced to argue with Nespresso Customer Service for more than a year before the company finally sent me a different model that didn't experience the same ongoing technical issues. It's arguably actionable that Nespresso is still selling this machine given several of the technical support contacts recognized the widespread issues customers experienced with this specific machine.
DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL unless you enjoy throwing away pods for fun (I think I wasted roughly 6 full sleeves) and being forced to factory reset, flush, manually clean the machine, etc. on a daily basis.
I'm disgusted with the lack of transparency from Nespresso related to this machine and my experience - it cost me money, product, countless hours and unnecessary frustration.

Not Worth the Money

Bought this machine just shy of 18 months ago. It is not our primary coffee machine due to the cost of capsules, but used it for special occasions. It still looks brand new and over the last month started having issues reading the capsules. Would have to try several times, sometimes ruining the capsule. Now it has also begun to leak coffee from the bottom of the machine, not water, coffee. Fun while it lasted but I'm not from the disposable generation. For the price, this machine should last for years. Now I have capsules and no working machine. Total disappointment.

This machine has caused me nothing but frustration. It never works properly. I even followed the descaling steps and still only works sometimes. I highly do not recommend this model!!
