Great tasting coffee ☕️ but.....

Nespresso offers amazing tasting coffee and espresso pods but unfortunately the Vertuo Next machine is awful! So many flaws and malfunctions. I am hopeful that I will be happy with a different model, possibly an older model.☕️☕️

We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Buy Vertuo Plus Instead!

Save your money on this product, buy Vertuo Plus instead! I was gifted this machine and had to get it replaced twice within 2 years. I was using Vertuo Plus prior to Vertuo Next, and I absolutely loved it for 4 years! I switched it back to a new Vertuo Plus as I couldn't deal with this machine anymore.
Pros: Great Color Options, Slim/Compact Design Cons: Non-automatic open/close button (super stiff too), Malfunctioning too often

stopped working properly

I have been cleaning this machine how it is supposed to be cleaned and it has started to throw my coffee towards where the used coffee pods go I have wasted so much pods trying to make it work and it just doesn’t work. I really love the coffee and machine but it is so unfortunate it stopped working for me.

DONT BOTHER

This machine has been the bane of my existence for almost a year. I wake up in the morning with this machine right next to a Keurig, as soon as this thing eats 3 or 4 capsules I just move onto a machine that actually works. This morning tho was over the top used at least 5 capsules beforw i finally got a cup and guess what the pour was like 5oz instead of the usual 7. Something tells me there is a class action suit in the making. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MACHINE.

Be prepared to replace it often...

I'm on my third machine in 2.5 years. It's had to be replaced more than once annually, and I'm very good about cleaning it weekly and descaling it every 3 months. I have to commend customer service for the free replacements, but it's a hassle to have to keep dealing with getting a new machine. Great coffee, super buggy machine.

Don't get this model

This machine has been the most frustrating of any Nespresso machine I've had. It was finicky when I first bought it, and had to be replaced, right out of the get go. Now, about a year over (a little more, since I'm out of warranty), the machine has stopped working again, despite doing all the "regular" fixes.
Essentially what happens is for whatever reason it stops wanting to brew... you can clean the spinny thing, empty the capsules, re-fill the water, turn it off/on and nothing works. There's even a thing where you turn the machine upside down to get the spinny thing to become unstuck. At any rate, incredibly frustrating.
My other machine (not Verturo) is almost 5/6 years old and is a champ. I think it's an issue with this model in particular.
That said, love the coffee. Just hate that I have to get a new machine.

Absolutely garbage

I bought this a year ago, had to get it replaced, and within 2 uses the new unit is busted as well. I spend more time troubleshooting the random blinking patterns than drinking coffee. The coffee quality itself is fine on the off chance the machine works. Definitely not reliable enough to make a quick cup of coffee. At least the adrenaline rush to see if you get an incomprehensible error blink or a cup of coffee is enough to wake you up.
