Waste Of Money

I purchased this machine and was so excited to use it. Broke down 3rd week. Got a replacement, the replacement broke down as well. Buttons don't work Water leaks from bottom Wastes Pods Waste of money!! The good thing is that Nespresso customer service is great! They sent me a different style, looking forward to using that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Piece of garbage

Within three month, it does not work anymore. I got the same orange/red light from other reviews. BTW, please make the light lighter even for this warning light. I have to turn off all lights in my room to see it!!!

Changed My Coffee Game Forever

It's been at least a season since I bought my machine and my coffee game has totally changed! I used to drink a hot coffee with cream every morning, but now I'm making myself iced lattes and saving so much money in the process. I love making a brown sugar shaken espresso and creating new, fun recipes. I'm addicted to espresso now, lol. The only thing I'm still getting used to is the button on top; it doesn't always respond immediately so I press it again, and it tries to go into cleaning mode. I also don't have any Nespresso boutiques near me and the grocery stores rarely have Vertuo pods in stock. So I wish it were a little more accessible to get pods, rather than having to order online, but hopefully that'll change one day soon. With that being said, the quality of the coffees are unmatched. I'm super happy with the purchase!

Thank you for your review. We’re thrilled you’re enjoying your Vertuo Next machine. The Vertuo Next machine powers off automatically after two minutes of non-use. To turn your machine on, press the button once and the cup button light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. After a Nespresso capsules has been inserted for brewing, close the head and ensure the lever is fully locked. The lever must go past the lock symbol and there should be a slight click sound when fully locked. Press the cup button once to begin coffee preparation. The cup button light will begin to blink. However, it may take a moment before the flow begins as the machine is reading the bar code and pre-wetting the capsule. Once the machine is finished brewing, the cup button light will become solid. Open the head by turning the lever all the way to the right to eject the capsule into the capsule container. Great Coffee, Error Code Problem

First and foremost, the coffee is absolutely wonderful. I purchased the Vertuo Next back in June, 2021 and fell in love immediately. That being said, fast-forward to September, 2021 and the orange blinking light comes on when I attempt to brew my usual morning coffee. I tried the descaling mode, the cleaning mode, and spoke with a rep from Nespresso, who guided me through the troubleshooting process. It was determined that the machine would need to be replaced. I am currently awaiting my replacement machine in the mail. I will keep an optimistic outlook on the next machine, but I am a little concerned as to how long the next machine will last based upon these other reviews. I hope that if this happens again, I will be able to trade it out for a different series. Don't hesitate to buy a Nespresso machine! Just be careful with the Vertuo Next series and perhaps opt in for a different Nespresso series machine instead. Absolutely love Nespresso regardless! Great customer support too.

Great Coffee, Great Service, Bad Machine.

Got my first next as a 2020 Xmas gift, and my wife and myself loved it. That continued for 5 moths until May when it broke down (flashing white cup light that was unresponsive when pressed). Customer service was great and very helpful in troubleshooting. They determined that it likely got stuck during a firmware upgrade and needed to be replaced and exchanged it for a new Next unit. Got the new unit and the 12 capsule flavor assortment (nice bonus). I didn't pair the unit with Wi-Fi so it couldn't get bricked by a firmware upgrade like my last one. This worked well for 4 months. Now I have a solid white cup button that is unresponsive. Chatted twice with customer service (who were great) and they determined that again, the machine would need to be exchanged. I asked if they could switch me to a Vertuo plus, and they readily agreed, and upgraded to a Vertuo Plus Deluxe, and they added a sample set as well. Overall, I'm done with the Next and have moved on to the Plus Deluxe. I'm disappointed that it didn't work out, but no big loss because I didn't plan on getting the carafe for the Next, so no loss on my part. It is disappointing that the machines would not last long enough to have to be descaled (I use soft filter water, so it is recommended ~ every 6 months), and it has to be a loss for Nespresso, but I'm off to the next machine. Still can use the same capsules, so I'm not upset, but it is pretty hard to rattle me.

Best tasting coffee and super efficient machine

We love our Nespresso maker! The coffee is silky smooth, with a nice froth topping. Tastes great and brews smartly and efficiently.

Great Coffee

I love the coffee! The coffee machine works, but it’s very loud. I have a different Nespresso coffee maker and I love it more because it’s not anywhere close to as loud as this one. I have this new one at work, and I need to make sure my coworker isn’t on the phone so I can make a cup of coffee.

Horrible machine

I got the first next machine December 2020, it leaked water everywhere and had a lot of coffee grounds in the cup of coffee. Called tech support was wonderful, sent me another machine and it lasted 3 days before getting the flashing red lights. Called again and they offered a different machine, the original. I hope that one works better. I have had the original citiz machine for 9 years with no problems, I sure hope the original vertuo can last as long.
