Horrible machine, do not recommend!

This machine is horrible. I bought it to use the reusable pods to make one cup of coffee one time a day and I have never been more unhappy with a coffee machine. It always requires cleaning. It will randomly stop working mid coffee. I gave this a shot after being a 15 year customer of the keurig machine and I'll be going back and purchasing a keurig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We are aware that some companies are manufacturing capsules that appear to be compatible. We do not test the compatibility of competitors’ products with our machines; therefore we cannot comment on this. You may decide to use non-Nespresso capsules in your Nespresso machine. The use of capsules others than those of Nespresso doesn’t invalidate the warranty.

Why can't you buy Petes or Starbucks Pods???

*BEWARE* the Vertuo Next machine does not allow other pods (Starbucks or Petes etc.) as the original device does. I hate that Nespresso limits the variety; very unfortunate.

Thank you for your review. Starbucks by Nespresso capsules brew in all Vertuo machine models, including the Vertuo Next machine. These capsules may be purchased in store at Bed Bath Beyond and may be purchased online via Walmart and Amazon. We recommend the first time use steps at least once a week as part of your machine maintenance, to flush any coffee granule buildup from the head of your machine. Should you need any machine assistance, our toll-free number 800-562-1465, is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, for your convenience. Too scared to try it!

Ooooh... We were just given this Ventuo Next by our daughter for Christmas and based on these common reviews of regular failures I am going to return it without opening it. I can't stand the idea of MORE JUNK IN LANDFILLS and I don't want to add to that catastrophe 😥 I'm going back to my perfect simple little Mr Coffee ♥️

Started off bad

I bought it 3-4 days ago and received it today. When I saw the box it had the grey machine on (I ordered white) the. I opened it and it was white and I was checking it out inside where the pod goes nd it had coffee stains all over it.They sent me a used machine. They even covered the color on the box with a white sticker. Thankfully customer service looked up the item and knew it had been returned so they are sending a new one. But I think I deserve some free coffee because I have my coffee machine since I received a dirty and used machine. Thank you

Take it back

Received for Christmas, i really don’t care for fancy coffee. Its just another way for companies to make money. Coffee is coffee. Most definitely taking this back. Looked really lowbudget for the price. And the pods are too expensive.

We recommend running a priming cycle weekly through your machine to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Great new coffee bundle
