Would not buy this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Nespresso pixie for 6 years without an problem.
Within 6 months we are on our second Vertuo Next and still having problem with it at times. My neighbor informed us that he had 2 Next within a month and finally decided to go with a Vertuo Plus. Others in our neighborhood is advising to stay away from this model. My son had the same machine and had to replace it with a Evoluo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the coffee, HATE the machine

Same as everyone else, the coffee and Vertuo Next is great until it drives you so insane you want to reenact the scene from Office Space and smash the machine in a field with a baseball bat. Don't buy if caffeine withdrawal and orange blinking lights raises your blood pressure.

Serious design flaws

I loved this machine for about 4 months, beautiful machine, beautiful coffee… then it stopped working. I’ve since had three replacement machines, each one worse than the one before. Won’t go into detail on each one, just know this machine is deeply flawed, and you should stay away. With that being said, Nespresso customer service is great. Although around the third machine the troubleshooting process becomes pretty tedious. I laid out my frustrations on this last one and was quickly offered the original vertuo machine as a replacement. Hopefully this will be a reliable machine… stay away from the Next

Constant problems

I purchased this machine in June 2021. Initially it was great,making coffee based on the pod that was used. Within a month it started having issues and needed to be reset. When we finally was not able to be reset I called Nespresso support and they replaced it with another next machine. This machine lasted for about a month and started doing the same thing. We would get colored lights that would not allow us to make coffee. After the second one failed, we switch to the vertuo instead of the next. Hopefully this will be a better option.

2nd machine in a year!

Awful machine stops working after 3 months. Just purchased a different model let see how this one works. I’m definitely purchasing a commercial grade machine if this one fails.

Trouble from the start

I bought the pink Chiara Ferragni Vertuo Next. Every week it had some problem. It just didn't brew coffee. First I thought the problem was the capsules but I very quickly realized it was the machine. It very randomly stopped working. And the app is pretty useless, it gave a generic error code that no one could figure out. Customer service was super friendly though and a replacement machine was sent. Let the ratings give you an idea, do yourself a favor and get another Vertuo model please.

Good pods, unreliable machine with design flaws

Lasted a little over a year with very low usage in the first half of that period. Done descaling and cleaning as suggested. What happens is steam gets into the area where the electronics for the button are and then it's all downhill from there. Light turns blue - seems like a consequence of steam corroding some of the metal around there. The clamps holding the hose also corrode and can't hold the hose tightly enough and it starts leaking water all over the place.

broke within a year

This is the worst product Nespresso has ever made in my opinion. I bought the machine after owning my prior machine for 8 years. This broke after a year and half. Nespresso customer service replaced the machine, and the second one broke in 10 days. What is up Nespresso? Did you make this on the cheap. Not on brand for you all. They are now replacing the second machine with the Evoluo..fingers crossed I don't have to call with a broken machine again.
