Worst machine ever

This is the second machine in less than a year. The first machine stopped working after four months. The second lasted about five. Leaking everywhere doesn't recognize the pods. I will not recommend this to anyone. Don't even consider it.

broke after 6 months of use

when the vertuo next was working, it was great. i loved the machine and how quick it made my espresso. after 6 months, it decided not to work. i descaled the machine, reset the settings, and did multiple cleaning sessions, still nothing. i do not recommend this machine at all. if you are going to buy a vertuo machine, anything but this one!

Horrible

My first Vertuo Next broke within two weeks and my replacement is acting up after two months. This machine does not brew hot coffee, started leaking and overflowing at the top seams and now will not even turn on.

Terrible - Disappointed twice, don’t waste money

Machine stopped working after a few months of use. Overall really dissatisfied with this product. Orange light began blinking and can’t be resolved so Nespresso sent refurbished product, after a week same thing happened with new machine. After doing some research seems the orange light malfunction occurs regularly. Don’t waste your money!

Great coffee, poorly designed machine

Bought this machine 3 months ago. Makes great coffee. Does need to be cleaned regularly which is no problem.
The low star rating is due to the extremely difficulty to open and close latch. Been trying ti figure out why my thumb is sore and bruised. It’s from injury due to this machine. The machine should not require so much force to to make 2-3 cups of coffee per day.

Not a great design

I am a long time Nespresso owner and loved it so much that I bought a smaller one to use at work. Big mistake. There are some design issues that are a problem. First: the latch is extremely difficult to use requiring quite a bit of force to press it down and secure it. Second: the cup shelf is small and does not fit a regular sized coffee cup, in fact they slide right off. Simple solution would be to remove the shelf and put the cup on the table top. Wrong. The bottom of the unit has a small rim that does not allow you to put the cup right next to the machine, causing it to sometimes dispense coffee onto the counter and not directly into the cup. Third: when closing the lid you many times get the red light of death, which means you have to unplug it and start again. Save yourself headaches and opt for a larger one.

DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!!

I really love the look of this machine but it doesn't last unfortunately! My first one only last about 10 months and my second one, about 6. Customer service is sending me the evoluo model so let's hope this one works for years! Great support though for my last machine with their video chat.

For best maintenance for your replacement Evoluo machine, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.

Descaling too complicated

Love the coffee but the descaling process is too complicated. This may go on the shelf if every 3 months have to do this
