I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. We have been going through many leak proof travelers mugs and always disappointed with them because they leaked. Finally we came across this product and I am so happy I took a chance and purchased a silver mug for my husband and a pink mug for myself. I love the takeya brand. Will highly recommend this product to family and friends

I've had my leak proof type thermos for about a month. I really like it. It is the perfect size and fits in my car cup holders very well. The only complaint I would say is the flip up handle seems a bit fragile. I usually just carry it without using the handle. Other then that I love it.

Best mug for my tea

I bought this almost a year ago, absolutely love it in the New England winter months for my hot tea! Now with COVID we have to eat away from others and I often find myself in the car for lunch. I get thought my morning by looking forward to my hot cup of tea...and bigger than a cup! It's just my size. It is also easy to drink from, no silly straw to clean and easily fits into my bag as well as the cup holder. I love the ring, it makes it much easier to grab and go. I'm looking a purchasing another for my mom...just can't decide on the color! Already bought one for my aunt's birthday who is an on the go "Mimi". Would be perfect for a new mom who never gets a chance to sit and enjoy her hot cup of coffee or tea.

Not keeping ice water cold

I have 4 Takeya active bottles which have always worked well, keeping iced drinks icy even past 24 hrs in some cases. I was looking forward to receiving the fliplock. I am very disappointed by this one's performance - it does not keep my ice water icy beyond a few hours. My ice is melted by morning even when I fill the bottle with cold water and ice before bedtime (about 10 hrs). Am I doing something wrong here? I've never had this issue with my 4 other Takeya bottles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
