Wonderful Affordable Hearing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn hearing aids for over a decade, so I have experience with what to expect out of a pair, as well as what to expect with hearing improvement. These ion OTC hearing aids give my expensive ones a run for their money.
To start, the ion comes in a small charging case. The case itself holds a charge, perfect for travel or long days away from home when you might not have access to a power cord to charge. There are no batteries to buy or change weekly, saving a huge cost of upkeep right off the bat.
The set cones with multiple “domes”, which are the pieces at the end of the device that fit into your ear canal. The proper dome is essential for fit, comfort, and quality of hearing. I easily found my perfect fit, and feel that the variety of dome shapes and sizes should accommodate anyone.
The sound quality is excellent. I wore these all day- from my errands in busy loud places, to home with just my husband, and the evening watching tv. The aids have 4 separate settings depending on your environment. I tested all 4, and they served their purpose. Sometimes hearing aids can distort some sounds that I hear, making “s” sound like “sh” for example. I didn’t experience any sound distortion.
There are a few downsides of these hearing aids. First, they are larger and bulkier than my regular prescribed pair, and there isn’t a color choice (pictured are my normal pair vs the ion OTC) But, if you have never worn hearing aids, you wouldn’t necessarily know what less-bulky feels like. And for women, our hair usually covers the device, so this is a minimal issue. Second, there is a LOT of feedback when anything gets close the the device. Hands, hugs, etc will cause a high pitch squealing that will announce to the world that you are wearing hearing aids. Again, not a big deal- just keep your hands away from your ears, and don’t go hugging anyone.
For the amount of money saved with these ion OTC hearing aids over non-OTC, the value is incredible. These make hearing possible for anyone. Hearing aids aren’t typically covered by insurance, so they tend to be a huge expense for those of us who need them. The ion OTC is a fantastic affordable solution, and I definitely recommend them!

Hearing aids as good as medical ones!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my hearing impaired daughter try these out ( she has hearing aids thru her Dr. That cost thousands!) ...she said they work almost as well as hers! I tried them too (as I have slight hearing loss) and it made a huge difference in clarity !! For this price...it seems to be a great alternative if someone couldn't afford the prescribed kind.

GAME CHANGER!! Have to try!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GAME CHANGER!! I was told by family I needed hearing aids because I was misunderstanding words that they would say, and had tv loud. I since have tried these and they are great. I normally don’t like earbuds because they never fit right in my ears but these fit perfect and our very comfortable. I am very much enjoying these and so is my family. Love the different sizes they give you and the cleaning tool. Feels great to hear right again.

Great standard hearing Aids, nice and discreet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still kind of in denial that my hearing isn’t what it used to be, i thought these would be hard to fit in my tiny ear holes but they fit just fine and can be easily disguised by my hair! Takes some getting used to hearing your own voice when talking but over time it gets better. My husband spent thousands on his hearing aids and he likes these just as much if not better!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that they are rechargable! They come with four modes so you can select the mode and volume that’s right for you. It took me a few weeks to adjust to the new hearing device but it was well worth it. They are easy to turn on and off and come in many sizes and two styles. When someone is taking to me, I don’t have to keep asking them to repeat themselves!

I definitely recommend this for any one who needs help hearing. Trying to convince my dad he needs something like this. Easy to use and wear. It last a long time and was durable. I am impressed and will use as I need to.
