Decline of Insinkerator Quality

Died after just 2 years of normal use. Getting a warranty replacement is a struggle. I've used Insinkerator disposals for 30+ years and this is the first failure I've had. Clearly the quality levels have declined for this product. You would think one of their premium products with a 10 year warranty they would last longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible motor/jamming.

First time ever leaving a review on anything. I got this product and it has only worked once. I haven’t even put anything in it yet to test. Motor continues to jam. Hums and that’s about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor electric connection design

I am not reviewing the capabilities of this grinder just the funky “push connector “ for the electric connection. National Electric code stopped allowing push connector appliances many years ago for 20 amp outlets it should be a screw/ clamp to secure the wires.

As a prevuous Evolution .75 Hp Disposer, I wouldn't have abything else. That is why I purchased this replacement unit.

Exceptionally quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation process of this disposal was quite easy. I would recommend replacing the piping and using appropriate fitting sealant to allow for reassurance with water leaks/flow. I did have issues with connections but that was due to old, eroded, piping; not with this model. The model is very heavy duty and solid. I was absolutely amazed to find out how quiet it was. I have installed a few of these for family and this by far quality wise is the nicest.
Great hardware outside as well as inside the barrel. Would recommend!

Easy to install works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used or installed a garbage disposal before and was amazed at how smooth the installation process went. The instructions for the installation are very well written and made it so easy to install. The noise level is moderate I expected it to be much louder then it is. I was very happy to have it installed and working over the holidays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with the quality of this garbage disposal. It was fairly easy to install but may not be to all people. You have to have some skill to install it. It has been a great replacement for the one we had before and seems to work very well.
