Limited songs - makes you pay more

My kids are disappointed and the limited songs and dances available without having to pay more and upgrade. Would not recommend

Purchased this with so much excitement! Didn’t realize there is no actual game card! You get the whole case with a spot for the game card but you have to download the game- than it’s SOOO difficult to set up and figure out cause turns out buying the game itself doesn’t give you access to all the songs???? Like what? Buying a game should give you access to the whole thing not requiring a subscription, and they should advertise this clearly. I do not recommend wasting your money on this

An Amazing story mode

This game is amazing by yourself and even better in multiplayer. There are tons of songs and JD+ gives you even more songs + occasional new features. The story mode in this game is the best part though. It is about 30 minutes long and it truly feels like an interactive movie. If you have JD23, the story continues off of that one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

There’s no game card. It doesn’t even work. We tried multiple ways to troubleshoot. DONT BUY IT. I can’t believe Best Buy is even selling this. Deserves ZERO stars

As the other reviewers said, I felt scammed. Not too much songs and I need to download a lot of stuff and set up was a hassle. There was also a need to download an app and basically will just asked you to pay every month to be able to use the songs you have. I wasted money in this and this is the first time I bought a game too.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. It is extremely confusing and difficult to set up. It does not come with a game card so you have to download it. That would be fine but it is not very user friendly. It's very hard to set up players. Still haven't been able to play it. Save your money and buy something else.

Too many subscriptions.

Beware - an Ubisoft account is required to play this game in addition to the Nintendo account. You can't progress past the start screen without signing up for Ubisoft. You must provide your information and consent to their terms and conditions before proceeding. You are forced to sign up even if you don't plan to connect online or download additional content (which they will happily sell you). Not sure what I actually paid for.
