Ice maker failed to work on power up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new unit and ice maker failed to work on power up. Not sure how this makes it through quality control when this one of the fundamental functions of a refrigerator/freezer.
Had to call a service man and was confirmed ice maker did not work. Replaced ice maker and valve and problem was solved.
Since it appears that Jenn Air marketing philosophy is to not allow any discounting on the product then the consumer deserves better.
Extend the warranty if you think your product is a level or two above the competition. We like the unit from an appearance and feature standpoint and thought we were getting a higher quality unit. Off to a bad start. On your next question I would not recommend this product to a friend only based on our initial experience with this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to purchase this fridge to replace a 3 year old fridge that was not working properly. I chose the new fridge that best matched my current appliances. I’m not thrilled about having a counter depth fridge as I have room for a full depth fridge but none fit the aesthetic that I was looking for. The handles on this fridge are not one solid piece and have very sharp edges so you must use caution. The deli drawer cannot be opened without opening both fridge doors. There is quite a bit of moisture in the fridge and I’m unable to control.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Hard To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with a new house we bought. Had to have the installer back to properly level it. The wing on the left door was not hitting the cam that latches it. Not sure the reasoning for that latch system but I'm not a fan from a keep it simple prospective. Not a lot of space for it's overall size.

Defective from day one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago and wasn’t working right from delivery. The flap is defective so it doesn’t close properly and the front doors are misaligned by 1/8 inch!

Sort of a letdown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to get this to match our awesome jennAir Wall oven combo, but Its okay, but for the cost it is not worth it. There really isn't anything you get in this brand model that you couldn't have got in another manufacturer's higher end model for less cost. The freezer lights are notorious for coming loose and are very difficult to adjust or replace with a normal size adult hand. The deli drawer can only be accessed when both doors are opened, the filters for the crisper drawers take up a lot of room and reduce they amount of space. The shelves inside do not even slide far enough back to prevent items from constantly falling down the back from one shelf to another. The water filtration system is nice benefit and when locked in place on bottom, the fridge the unit does not move back and forth like other models when opening the door and closing multiple times, but its boxy and awkward inside for storing items on the doors and in the freezer. Its a good unit, but for the proce not what we expected.
