Just what I needed!

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad I bought this instrument as it gives me some indication in the varying levels of my blood pressure. Putting the cuff on firmly and correctly is somewhat awkward for me and could be a challenge for someone with limited flexibility.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great BP Monitor!

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I am so happy that I did. I bought it for my mom and it turned out that I was the one that needed to use it! Super simple to use and store. You do need 4 AA batteries which are not included.

Piece of junk! Raises the pressure on the cuff so high that it actually induces high blood pressure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible Customer "Support"

Went to my Dr's office and she found the monitor I bought 3 months ago to be 13 points off, so she called Omron herself (with me on speakerphone) and all they would do for us is have me send it to them at my expense, and if they find it to be off (what will they be comparing it with?) apparently they'll replace it. A certified doctor is telling them it's not working properly, but too bad. I'm writing this review because Omron takes such pride in being highly recommended by doctors, well, they lost my doc's future recommendations from here on out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the upper arm bp7100 because I like how quickly I can put it on and within 30 seconds I have my reading. This is my second Omron product.
NOW my disappointment is in the clunky software that is all but useless. Does not do averages over a period of time. I tried to upgrade but even though there is a upgrade path but I'm told it's canceled. I now use a BP management app but have to enter it manually which defeats the purpose. You can not scroll back of previous readings on the BP7100 either which again is a big mistake.
Unfortunately unless Omron listen to customers on the wants and needs then this will be my last Omron product
