Effortless Cooking with the Koda 2 Max: Perfect f

I’ve used the Koda 16, Karu 16, and now the Koda 2 Max. The Karu 16 was the easiest to cook with, as it didn’t require adjusting the flame or temperature. The Koda 2 Max cooks great as well, but you need to turn down the flame while cooking. This greatly saves time and allows you to cook two Neapolitan pizzas at once, which is perfect for hosting parties and making multiple pizzas. I would highly recommend it.

My first night cooking went

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first night cooking went well but as we live near the coast it is often windy. The temperature fluctuated quite a bit and it took quite a while to get it above 600 degrees F. The first pizza I slightly over cooked the cheese so a flashlight is now a part of my must haves to detect the degree of cheese browning. I also do believe that I will be using less toppings vs more as the crust is done so quickly. Since the Koda 2 Max was just released for natural gas I am not sure if the gas could be limiting the temperature or if it is just hard to heat up such a large cooking surface. My second night was far less windy and while it did heat more quickly it never reached 700 degrees F.

Koda 2 Max is great

The Koda 2 Max has been great for finally getting huge NY style pizzas done in an Ooni. Obviously all Ooni's can get up to a hot temp and cook a great pizza, but the size and versatility of this one has been really great for my needs of cooking for the family

Why put the pizza on bricks if your just going to scorch it from the top at 800 degrees? The bricks should be doing the cooking not pouring flame out the sides. Probably good for people looking for a fun little project but not a quality design.

Couldn't heat it up in 1 hour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were heating it up to make some napoletana and It just couldn't get up both sides to the maximum heat. We gave up after 90 minutes of max heating.
