Good machine, poor instructions

Packaging was well thought out and all of it is recyclable…no styrofoam. The included manual is in Spanish, which I don’t read or speak! The final pages were pictorials with English captions, thankfully. The pictorials take you through setup only…no usage instructions. This is also true of the pdf download owners manual which offers no use instructions…just features, cleaning and troubleshooting. This is not an intuitive machine. I did find a Breville Master Class tutorial which was extremely useful…find it on YouTube. The prompted setup steps worked well. The machine connected to my WiFi network seamlessly and an update was downloaded and installed…no clue as to what that included. The display is terrific and responsive. One has to pay close attention to quantity options after selecting a drink. The Barista Guidance function is helpful and clever. The grind size knob adjustment is strange however. The machine itself is attractive and seems well made. Overall I am happy with this choice yet it takes a considerable amount of experimentation to get things where one wants them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great machine that allows the user to fine-tune the taste, amount and strength of the coffee. It allows the individual to select the type of drink and store the grind, amount of grounds and water and save the settings for later use. Very satisfied with this product and thoroughly enjoy the coffee it produces. Really appreciate the ability to easily move the coffee maker to allow the user to add beans to the hopper and move the machine back under the cabinet with little effort. Also allows the user to add water from the front instead of filling the tank from the back.

We had thoroughly enjoyed making espresso coffees in our Breville Barista Touch for two years. When the Oracle Jet came out, it was much easier to step up to the newer version with all of its improved features, especially self-tamping which my wife enjoys. It's a beautiful and enjoyable machine in which to make a variety of drinks.

First, my experience opening and using an assisted, but barista-quality machine for the first time ever. It was like being seated behind the wheel of a McLaren with an instructor and suddenly understanding what all the fuss is about. Perfection from the very first cup after setup.
Things I’ve learned: most of the issues that have come up for grind, “wavy tamp”, and flavor aren’t yet out on video. I can’t wait for those for THIS machine. But EVERY issue was really no more than a simple “learning curve” fix. It is truly a versatile machine that can be coaxed into doing anything with good coffee beans that you would like. Add to that its versatility and speed with perfect milk frothing, and you are off to the Le Mans of coffee brewing, or somewhere in the hills of Italy.

First off I have to say this machine has been a game changer for me and my family we literally had three coffee makers set up before getting this one! This Oracle Jet does everything and that brings coffee shop quality to your house. It is an easy set up, blending professional features with friendly automation. It’s sleek, modern, and robust, with stainless steel finish that looks beautiful and modern. The machine is solid and well-built, not bulky. It has a large touchscreen that makes it easy to navigate and adjust for the perfect cup of coffee. I was able to get rid of my bean grinder because one of the features of the Oracle Jet is its automatic grinder right in the machine. The steam wand is amazing giving you control over texture and temperature, you can also make a variety of drinks such as flat whites, lattes, or cappuccinos. So far Cleaning has been a breeze I read there is a built-in cleaning cycle, and the machine has an easy-to-remove drip tray and water tank.
