Conflicting bulbs, worth reading

These bulbs are amazing replacements for standard ceiling shape, if you're trying to flood an area with bright light. The white only feature of these bulbs is 5/5, extremely bright, almost painfully so at 100 percent, across the entire white spectrum. I have zero complaints with these and their white features.
The color representation is my biggest complaint. There is no such thing as "purple" on these bulbs. You can get pink with a tiny purple tinge, or you can get blue with a tiny pink tinge. Every other color seems to represent incredibly well. Greens are green. Golds are gold. Red is deep. But there is NO purple. I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the LEDs they used in the bulb or a software issue. The second issue with the color of the lights is that the color LEDs are not nearly as bright as the white. They're bright enough for my uses and application, but they're dramatically noticeably darker than white only mode. Not a huge concern for me.
Overall I DO recommend this product as it ties in very easily with your other Govee lights and they're great for the different uses you can put them in, as long as purple isn't a mandatory color to have represented and brightness of the colors is acceptable as only slightly brighter than a standard shape color bulb.
I purchased 4 of the bulbs and each is exactly the same, so I can say that Govee's high standards of quality continue with this product.

Pretty Great!

I recently replaced all my basement lights (20) with the BR30 bulbs from Govee. I already knew how great their lights are, so I pretty much knew what the experience was going to be. Transitioning several of the lights from A19 bulbs to BR30, I was impressed by the light pattern! Only downside is that they are not much brighter than the previous bulbs, but I can look past that with the added functionality of the smart bulbs, and the better light pattern of the BR30's. Great upgrade for me.

Bulb got burnt

Unfortunately I bought a set of 2 bulbs, one of them got burnt after 5 days of using it, didn't expect that from govee brand.

I thought these bulbs would be an upgrade from my older Govee bulbs

I purchased these as the specs say they are brighter than my older RGB Govee bulbs. They are indeed dimmer. Colors are nicer and the scenes are smoother, but these are the only Govee product out of about 25 that I have purchased which I consider a miss. That being said, they're just cheap light bulbs so it's not a big deal.

Works wonderfully nice bright white or soft yellow light plus 16 million other colors what more could you want oh yeah energy efficient. Govee is the best:)
