Small price, WOW quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera out of the box WOWed me. Perfect if you are just starting out and need something good quality without breaking the bank and or if you arent wanting to learn a new software as it is plug and play. My Facecam Neo is my away from my setup cam. I use it for cons with my laptop, green screen recording and more. I was not disappointed with the quality and quick setup and you wont be either.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Experience

I got this camera for my birthday, and it looked and worked great at first use. Every single day after has been an absolute nightmare.
The feed gets stretched, or is washed out, or the camera itself doesn't even turn on or connect. Right now, it won't even stream video in 60 frames, it's locked at 30 and I have no idea why. It's a different issue (or combination of issues) every day, and try as I might to find anything online about it, nobody else seems to have these problems.
For a camera that is advertised as "plug n play", it shouldn't make you tear your hair out.

Poor color

Purchased 2 months ago to replace logistics webcam. Colors my skin orange despite my best efforts a lighting and adjusting

Orange skin tones are typically a white balance issue rather than a sensor limitation — Camera Hub gives you manual control over color temperature, which can make a significant difference. One thing worth trying: open Camera Hub, switch white balance from automatic to manual, and pull the color temperature down toward the cooler end of the scale until your skin tones look natural. If adjusting those settings doesn't fully resolve it, our support team at help.elgato.com would be happy to dig into your specific setup.
