[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 for a short time, but my first impressions are extremely positive. The laptop is impressively lightweight yet feels very solid and premium. Performance is smooth and responsive, even with multiple applications running simultaneously.
The keyboard is excellent, as expected from a ThinkPad—very comfortable for long typing sessions. The display is sharp and easy on the eyes, and battery life has been more than sufficient for a full workday. Overall, it’s a great choice for professionals who need portability without compromising performance or build quality.
my new 32 MB RAM machine is constantly freezing, which is extremely disappointing given that I'd upgraded from an 8 MB X1 carbon to overcome this exact issue...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a game-changer. Ultra-lightweight yet incredibly durable, with a stunning display and blazing-fast performance. The keyboard is perfection, battery life lasts all day, and it handles everything I throw at it effortlessly. Premium quality at its finest – highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 Carbon is very fast, responsive and light. Fast face and fingerprint reader. Ok battery life. Screen is enough for school work. Great keyboard feel and touch. Multiple USB ports. I just hope it holds up. The first unit we got had problems powering up a few days after using so I got a replacement. I got this because our previous Lenovo for our daughter in college would not power up after just a year and a half of using. If this does not last longer, this is our last Lenovo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast for most tasks we need. Quick face recognition and fingerprint reader. Good keyboard. This is a replacement because the one we got had a problem turning on a wek after we got it. We bought this because another Lenovo we got only lasted about a year and a half before it had problems with powering up.
