[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thinkpad. I have so many good things to say about it. It is the perfect size and weight. It does evrything I need it too. I just love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was fast and intuitive. The layout and overall sleekness of the laptop is great. Planning on using this one for a longtime as my main computer for business and personal use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elegant, lightweight, fast, and smooth. This is my second X1 Carbon (previous was Gen 8). I use this for personal business only and this laptop performs like no other. Easy purchase, fast delivery, and easy to migrate my old data onto this new laptop. Love the new camera and top tab for easy opening and closing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I've had a great experience using this laptop! I've had it for about a month, and it has been running very smoothly. It's got great battery life, and feels very sturdy. The fingerprint reader can be a little finicky, but nothing too bad. When I first got it, it ran a little hot, but after using Lenovo Commercial Vantage to install all of the updates needed, the computer cooled down a lot. I'm looking forward to seeing how this device will perform over the next few years!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 2018-era P series Thinkpad. This is my second one. I'm blown away by the snappiness and battery life. Keyboard is everything you'd expect from a Thinkpad. For a highly portable work computer that can entertain well, it's hard to beat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slick looking carbon black ultralight and thin with powerful chips and ample memory. Fast processor and AI make this a monster more than adequate for complex and daily tasks.A jewel for a more than decent price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me 8 months since my 76th birthday in March to November to decide what laptop brand, characteristics, and cost would give me computing power yet portability, my primary intent and usage to create web sites for the water industry in California using Replit and fine tuning using VCode (yes, I’m retired, but still feel the need to be productive.) At my age, shoot-em-up, bang bang video games are of no interest hence hi-end graphics unnecessary as well as touch screen capability. Likewise, I deal with hundreds of thousands of records using SQL, so Docker containers is a must as well as a Microsoft environment of which I am most familiar. What I create I want to demonstrate at meetings and conferences, so the need for portability, considering weight and screen size. After extensive GPTChat sessions looking at all these requirements, this Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen 12 (Intel U155 processor, 12 cores) jumped out repeatedly, especially for the price offered. And, it is now exceeding my expectations. Thank you Lenovo!
