Comfortable & Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these headphones for computer gaming and so far they have worked exactly as I would expect them to. I was looking for a comfortable headphone for gaming and these fit what I was looking for. They fit quite nicely and part of that is likely due to the mobility of the ear pieces. They are not locked in to a specific position as other gaming headphones are. The ear pieces have the ability to rotate inwards and backwards. Another thing that makes them comfortable for me is there is enough space between the speakers and my ear. I have used other headphones when the speaker is pressed against my ear and after a while it makes my ear feel a bit sore. I have not run into that issue with these headphones, so I'm able to be comfortable for longer. They are also very lightweight. For me comfort of the headphones while gaming is one of if not the top priority. While I do enjoy quality sound It becomes hard to pick up on some differences in sound quality between headphones, but something that is always noticeable is how comfortable they are. So these headphones ticked that box for me.
The sound quality is very good. I feel that the details from the surrounding environments in the games is picked up quite well.
The microphone has not given me any issues and I havent heard any comments from people online about how my mic might sound so I assume the quality of my voice through the mic is being sent out well enough.

Entry level gaming headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound for a gaming headset. The mic is sensitive but looks flimsy. To sensitive at times at it picks up ambient background sound. The auxillary cord could have been better built specially from where it attaches to the headset. For long term use, it will eventually fail.
Overall quality is good for it’s value.

Son Loves JBL Quantum 100X Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as JBL Quantum 100X headphones arrived my son was so excited to use them for gaming. This is his review: he was amazed with how good the sound quality was while playing games online. He could hear and speak clearly while playing. Quantum 100X headphones were very easy to use, easy to control volume as well as mute microphone if not needed. The color is cool green and black. Headphones are very comfortable and easy to adjust sizing to fit anyone. Headphones came very well boxed and great package markings. Great headphones for gaming!

Good fit low sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this in my home for my Xbox. The fit is very comfortable. The volume and mute button are in a easy to access spot. The sound is a bit low for max volume. Also there is no noise cancelling, which can make it great for someone who needs to hear other things in their environment.

Great Budget headset with a few compromises.

Its light, that helps with gaming fatigue. The speakers are nice and loud when they need to be.
One problem is that it doesn't fully cancel the noise outside the headphones so you can hear mostly anything. This headset would be great for a a kid or someone on a tight budget.
I have a quantum 600 and its a bit of a step up. but over all i am satisfied with the headphones, they deliver the hi's and lows that are great with gaming!

A good temporary headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Quantum 100X is an okay headset. It definitely does the job if you're looking for a mediocre headset or a temporary replacement headset. I use it for gaming and watching movies from my PC. I like the fact that it's from a reputable brand, it's dependable, it has the features needed for gaming such as: volume control, mute button, microphone and it's adjustable. I really dislike the length of the cord, it's too short and doesn't allow me step away far enough without taking it off, it needs more length. The headset is a little too light for my liking, it feels a little cheap because of the weight. I don't like the volume control and mute button on the headphone, I think it should be on the cord. I like the mic removal feature and the option to remove the mic cover but the mic itself is super flexible and just seems like it'll break after a few uses. I was surprised with the quality of the material with it being a JBL product. It seemed a bit cheap, especially the earpiece cover, it felt like plastic.

Lightweight and comfortable!

I can wear these for hours with zero discomfort. I can hear people perfectly and they can hear me clearly as well. I also love the cord material and the color is fun. All in all would highly recommend for gaming and streaming!

Amazing Clarity and Gaming Sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I desired to replace my current gaming headset I had noticed the JBL Quantum 100X Console unit and wanted to give it a shot to earn my utmost gaming sound and voice feedback requirements! The JBL unit did not disappoint in any area in which I rigorously tested and sampled!
The unit comes very securely packaged in an colorful green/black box indicative of Xbox compatibility and is actually Xbox 'preferred' BUT unit does function very well with all Xbox, Playstation (4 and 5), Nintendo Switch and Lite, PC, Mobile Phone, Mac and even VR! The unit is a WIRED over ear unit so is basically functional with any device utilizing a 3.5MM Headphone jack.
This lightweight yet heavy duty unit offers JBL Quantum Sound Signature which is delivered through 2 40MM drivers! Unit also offers a detachable Voice Focus microphone. Windows Sonic Spatial Audio is a highlighted feature for Xbox applications as well.
Other applications that are supported by the Quantum 100X Console include Skype, Discord (Certified), as well as Teamspeak!
My use and review/testing of the unit was related to my PS5 console and many sports and adventure role playing type games. Let me say.. WOW! My old headset did not offer near the clarity or depth of sound that I enjoyed while using this JBL unit. Bass was thumpy and punchy as you would want when playing these games to experience the real feel of being immersed IN THE GAME! Voice interactions as well as music is very crisp and clear with no distortion under the most rigorous situations.
I used the unit for gaming for several hours on end and did not experience any type of head and neck fatigue as the unit is lightweight and just simple WORKS! The last thing any gamer needs when in the heat of battle is frustration from an uncomfortable gaming accessory and this one delivers!
The only drawback I did not enjoy was the length if the cord supplied with the unit. The black/green cord (approximately 3 ft long) is permanently affixed on the headphone unit on one end so I did order an extra long cable extension as to utilize a more comfortable gaming seat several feet from my console.
In closing the JBL is a viable alternative to much higher priced units the deliver a similar experience. I have enjoyed many hours with this unit and have not found any sound situation the unit does not handle flawlessly! You will not regret giving this Quantum 100X a shot at satisfying even the most picky gamer's ear... because ultimately.. SOUND IS SURVIVAL!
