Saw operates well, it is powerful and the battery lasts longer than I expected before needing a recharge. Assembly instructions and orientation marks on the pole sections can be better. The sprocket cover is difficult to orient and screw down due to the challenge of lining up main stud and the tension adjustment dagger. A harness would be useful to help support it when reaching overhead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Skil Pole Saw

Skil pole saw worked fine for 1 1/2 years. must have used it less than 10 times. A week ago it would not start up when I tried to use it. Took it to Fasenal place in Concord, NC and they kept it a week and called me and said they do not work on them or send them off. This place is listed on Skil's service site. Not good for consumers I tell you that.

Straight out of the box, I was impressed by how easy it was to set up. The saw came with a 20V battery and charger, and getting everything ready took just a few minutes. The telescopic pole adjusts smoothly, and the saw is surprisingly lightweight, even when fully extended. As far as performance goes, this saw packs a punch! It effortlessly sliced through some pretty thick branches in my yard. The adjustable pole is a complete game-changer. I was able to reach high branches without needing a ladder, making the whole process much safer and quicker for me without needing to bother my husband.
Some key features to keep in mind are that the 20V battery holds a good charge. Excellent little saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It made short work of storm damage last night had a few larger branches break out of tree and one tree broken out of fence row completely cut them up very quickly and easily done it all on one battery and was able to manage and move things with one hand and cut with the other very light and sturdy I highly recommend one if you have a need for it

Like my hedges trimmed

We live on a half acre and so was looking for something lightweight and portable enough for me to work around the yard, but not too big or heavy. This Skilz saw kit is awesome and does the job for hedges, small trees and even some hefty branches. Highly recommend!

Performance and versatility!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good little unit for what it does. The saw is light weight and balanced making it easy to maneuver when cutting limbs. My first use was cutting down a 15’ with a 6” diameter tree. The saw went through the base with ease. The battery is impressive and lasted cutting down the tree, removing the branches and finally cutting into 12” sections. The battery was t half power when finished and was a lot to ask of a pruning saw but I am happy with the performance.
