I have been a Apple Watch girly for year. With me being a runner and training for my first full marathon, I wanted a watch that would not die during my marathon. I am loving this watch. I do wish it was more apple friendly, but I still love it.

Awesome Watch With Great Features!!

WOW, such an impressive watch! I've been an avid Garmin user for about a decade. I had been wearing the Forerunner 735XT, which was an amazing watch, especially back in the day. While this watch is technically a class under my former watch, I have found its standard features to be AMAZING!!! I absolutely love it. As a daily runner and high school cross-country coach, I've found that this watch has all the features I need and want. Highly recommended.

I had a coros pace 2 and was looking to upgrade i was between this and the pace 3 and ultimately decided on the garmin. It’s been nothing but great so far and i feel like its a lot more accurate with tracking my heart rate. It dies quicker but i like the screen and how bright it is compared to my coros so that’s something to note. Overall super happy with it

Good upgrade

It’s been over a month since I’ve had the watch. It’s a really good upgrade - I did upgrade from the 45. That was a basic watch and worked well until the battery started to die out. The 165 has a lot of features that are useful and helpful. The only thing that I’m not crazy about is the weight training feature - it’s a little difficult or not really user friendly to be inputting the information- the reps and weight. But other than that I love the watch and honestly I’m already thinking on what model to upgrade. Not because I don’t like the watch but I’m sure the other ones will be better.

Poorly documented extremely hard to use

Having used various Garmin electronics extensively for many decades I had night hopes for this product. To say I was disappointed with the Forerunner 165 would be an understatement. The documentation is amateurish. Even worse figuring out how this smart watch works is the exact opposite of intuitive. I hate, I despise the Forerunner 165 for the reason it is impossible to use. I want to return it for a full refund. I cannot recommend this smart watch to anyone. In fact I recommend that no one make the mistake of buying the 165.
