Great/Easy Running watch

I purchased the Forerunner 165 back in June of this year (2024). This is by far the best running watch that I have ever owned. The GPS is supper fast. The watch vibrates after each mile ran and you can not only feel it on your rest, but you can hear it as well. The running stats for each run are very easy to read and work with as well. If you are a runner looking for an easy to use, great running watch, this is the one to buy.

Great for running, okay for cardio

I went from Apple Watch to this! I LOVE the Garmin watch, app, and how much its tracks! BUT! You can’t walk far from your phone (like you can with Apple) or it will disconnect very easily. If you start a workout/run and leave your phone it’ll stop the workout till it’s connected again. That’s really annoying! I LOVE the running features on it and it tracks everything! It shows me where I can improve and we love progress! It’s also still super cute and stylish!

I've always used a garmin watch, but they have always been on the low end. This is my first time moving up in price point. I really like it. I love waking up and checking my HRV.

An excellent upgrade from my old Forerunner 235

I've only had this watch for a couple of weeks so I'm still learning and calibrating myself with some of the metrics that are new to me, but it's very interesting, useful, and easy enough to use. The health-related metrics like pulse-ox, respiration, sleep stages, etc are very useful for a 60 year old runner. This watch is well worth the price!

Many features in this watch

I've had this watch for about three weeks and I have found so many useful features. I had a four-year-old Garmin and this is so much more advanced. There is a learning curve and I still am learning. Just take extra time when saving an event, so as not to lose anything. This watch, however, meets all my needs and will help me exercise better.

I upgraded my Garmin that literally fell apart from lots of love over the past 4 years. I’m glad I indulged a little and got the forerunner 165 because it does everything I need plus more I didn’t know I would use!
