Way smarter than I am!

I currently use an Apple watch. It has its drawbacks, the battery being one, but I was able to figure it out really easily. I bought the Garmin Forerunner 165 thinking it would be better because of the things I's heard about how it holds a battery charge for days. I have not been able to get familiar enough with it to feel comfortable with using it as an everyday watch. It's very difficult for me to use. I boxed it back up and that's where it'll stay. Should have stuck with Apple!

TOO Much!

It has too much stuff on it. For a runner, I wish that I still had the Forerunner 210, but the construction on it fell apart.

Had trouble getting it to work, was on the phone with your service dept two times , over an hour in total. Eventually returned it and got a Whoop.

I'm an older man who does lots of walking and swimming. I also ride a stationary bike. So the cardio, walking, and swimming apps get a lot of work. And the heart rate along with calories info are great.

Watch pretty good, Connect algorithm is a disaster

Moved from Samsung Galaxy to Garmin so I could use a heart strap and to have all my data in one place, Connect, where my cycling data is. Turns out I can't bring my previous running data to Connect because of Garmin's business lock in strategy. Absurd, so starting from scratch. As usual with Garmin software, glitches galore. Set up a Run Coach program, but the watch still constantly bugs me to finish set up by starting a Run Coach program. No matter how slow I go, Training Status always reads unproductive, went for the easiest ride I have in years the other day and Connect claimed main benefit was *aerobic* (despite 123 avg watts at 125 BPM heart rate). I could go on about all the false data Garmin is gushing at me. For a fitness focused company, you'd think they'd have a decent solution. Will probably return this as the benefit I hoped for is not playing out. Guess it's just better to have all my data in Strava?

This is such a good watch for intermediate runners! I love all the features, especially sleep, and it helps me be the best I can be and feel relaxed.
