Watch is Very Good

I purchased this watch to replace an old Vivoactive 3 that I have run into the ground. This watch is a phenomenal upgrade by direct comparison. The HR monitor is inconsistent and not the most accurate. The GPS coverage is quite accurate along. The band is quite comfortable and easily adjustable. I would recommend disabling the touch screen as the touch is inconsistent on this watch. There is good data analysis which is a nice feature. The Forerunner 165 is a good watch, and I would definitely recommend it.

Way over complicated for a simple run twice a week. I've gone back to using my Forerunner 55 for a simple run. Works nice for biking though.

Love the features but having problems

I switched from Apple to Garmin due to its features, but I am consistently experiencing connection issues that I did not encounter with Apple. Despite following all recommended troubleshooting steps, the problem persists. I previously used a Garmin device with limited features, which I enjoyed, but it was not a watch.

Mixed Feelings

Records sleep great & steps fine along with fitness age but does not recognize other activities such as indoor cycling on a spinning / Peleton bike. Not sure if it's recording the cycling as steps or just not recognizing the activity at all. I do plenty of other activities besides running but "steps" seems to be the most common motion recognized. I don't want to have to manually add biking each time I ride. I want it to be automatically recognized. Way too much effort on. my part to manually record my exercise or motions.

At first I thought is want going to connect to my iPhone it connected to my phone and my Strava account so I’m very pleased with this watch
