The perfect watch

I used to have the vivoactive 5 which was great but I wanted a watch that had more athletic functions. The forerunner 165 fit perfectly into my budget and has every feature I could possibly want for all my needs.

Took me a bit to get use to but love it! Love the features and my run distance is now way more accurate than my fitbit and my old apple watch.

One thing that really stands out is the impressive battery life and fast charging. Garmin watches easily last through long runs and still perform reliably. I typically charge mine just once or twice a week — truly excellent quality!

better than an apple watch

I have had an apple watch for 8 years, and I never knew what I was missing with Garmin. This watch does every thing I need/want it to do, including a long battery life. With my Apple Watch I could never wear it more than 12 hours so I never got to see my sleep patterns, and I ended up not wearing it consistently enough for workouts. I can tell this watch might not be as durable as the more expensive models but that also means it is lightweight. I have tiny wrists and it's a little big but not too bad.

Bought this watch and been wearing for a month. I use for hiking and walking as I'm not a runner. The GPS and altimeter work great.
Sleep info is accurate and helpful. I like the challenges and tracing of progress. This watch will notify an emergency contact if it detects distress. Awesome if maybe a little sensitive. I stopped my walk to pick up some garbage and got an arm full of ants. As I was quickly swiping them off, the watch sent an emergency message. Guess better safe than sorry but did scare wife. Overall I recommend this watch for quality, slimness and entry level price. I'm sold on Garmin.
