Great Running Watch!

Have had it for almost 2 months and even took it to visit family in El Salvador so it went on SEVERAL long hikes and excursions with me in rough jungle terrain- held up EXTREMELY well. Only charged it once on the entire 2 week trip and was able to get data for stress levels and sleep as well as recommendations for training on high stress/low stress days etc. Currently using the Garmin app Half marathon training plan to get ready for my first half marathon and can already see improvements in my runs. The watch automatically gives you the option to do the suggested exercise for the day or choose your own. So excited to use on race day!

My Apple watch died on me during my first half marathon, so here I am. I'm really enjoying my Forerunner 165 so far - it's not as intuitive as my Apple watch and I still have to look at the button labels sometimes to know how to navigate my watch, but the insights are great.
I don't think at my running/activity level I need whatever's included in the 265 and beyond.
One downside is that my charger broke in the first 2 weeks and I had to buy another one, so that's annoying.

The battery life is beyond good (still haven't had to charge it). After the first run I did with my FR165 the immediate feedback of data was a pleasant surprise. Reading before about the health metrics/data that it tracks was one thing...actually seeing and reviewing it in real time was amazing. The amount of data at your finger tips in addition to the training programs provided which are specifically catered to me based on my runs/pace, etc. I am very satisfied with my purchase - a great American product!

I love the battery life compared to my Samsung watch but very complicated to get simple information. Even though I have to charge my Samsung phone almost every day, it is so much easier to find the information you need compared to the Garmin.

Great watch missing some key features

I bought this watch because I was dreading having to charge my current smartwatch far too often. This beats it with an amazing battery life and it's functional close to what a smart watch can do.
An overall very nice watch with great features.
My biggest peeve or caveat is that Golf isn't featured on it. I tried requesting the feature to no response and the most frustrating part is that the cheaper Forerunner 55 has Golf capabilities.
